Zeus 7997 Posted May 28, 2012 I think the appearance of Ryoga is not appropriate for that type of song ...Ryoga's appearance is aggressive and the song is not. I was thinking the same... Thirded. Also this song is painfully generic. Psycho Diva was much a much better attempt at "dance rock".
ghost 2687 Posted May 29, 2012 this song..this style...If they keep going this direction I'm not sure how much longer I'll be able to follow them. They were so great on [Abnormal Head Machine] and [felony], and even the black minis. I guess as long as they don't pull a complete Mucc...
mousou 0 Posted May 29, 2012 Not gonna lie, havent listened to born after they signed with PSC they were a promising band back then though. Are they worth checking out now?
Guest Posted May 29, 2012 PS Company has spoiled many bands, do not you think?
Niku 8 Posted May 29, 2012 I could stomach the song, but still.. What the fuck Ryoga? O_o
No.47 22 Posted May 29, 2012 Just saw the PV......no....just no.
Maiku 4 Posted May 29, 2012 I thought Psycho Diva was terrible. This seems to be at least a bit more listenable. And that chorus is kind of catchy. I dunno. I never really liked the band cause of the copious amounts of cheese.
Seimeisen 4406 Posted May 29, 2012 When I heard the preview, I thought "LOVE IS DEAD" initially. But now that I think of it, comparing this song to "LOVE IS DEAD" is a brutal insult to D'espairsRay.
Yasupon 18 Posted May 29, 2012 The PV makes no sense. Song is actually kind of decent IMO.
Guest Posted May 30, 2012 This image gives the impression that they were a very aggressive band.
Thedane 176 Posted May 30, 2012 In danish, we have a saying i find very fitting! Narrefisse, which roughly can be translated to "False/Fake pussy" They promised us sex but delivered an punch in the face instead!
Dark Kinma 960 Posted May 31, 2012 Better picture of their new look :
Zeus 7997 Posted May 31, 2012 The best aspect of this entire single are those artwork covers. If they only put that much effort into their music :\
Guest Posted May 31, 2012 although the main song is not aggressive as often appearing to the band ... I think the single can impress with the other songs also not yet known or can be a great delusion ... I hope the single is as sufficiently good.
Maiku 4 Posted May 31, 2012 Besides the preview was only of the very poppy dancey chorus. There could still be crappy metal screams and such. In fact I guarantee it. I actually like the way the chorus is sung. And as for the picture and current look making the band look aggressive, the song is an aggressive pop rock song. In truth I hope there is absolutely no screaming so the song doesn't get ruined. I can't really comment on the instruments because they just sound like static and shit because of the crap quality of the preview. Seriously I don't understand what it is you guys are expecting from the "I MISS YOU FAIRY, FAIRY, FAIRY I LOVE YOUUUU," band.
Guest Posted May 31, 2012 BORN never really known for being a great band, members do not perform much in what is guitar, bass and drums ... but feature the beautiful voice of Ryoga. with this appearance I expected something stronger and less dance, Ryoga other hand always tried to imitate the apariecies of marilyn manson. that must be the reason why you always want to be aggressive
ghost 2687 Posted June 1, 2012 Seriously I don't understand what it is you guys are expecting from the "I MISS YOU FAIRY, FAIRY, FAIRY I LOVE YOUUUU," band. felony is one of their best songs. The lyrics have nothing to do with the music and felony is a million times better than this.
Maiku 4 Posted June 1, 2012 Lyrics still ruined Felony for me.
ghost 2687 Posted June 1, 2012 I guess I'm more swayed by the music than lyrics. ^^" You're right though, lyrics are also important. I just don't want them (or any band) to completely abandon their core sounds like Mucc and Girugamesh did. I can take change, but I dunno about abandonment. ghost 2687 Posted June 1, 2012 Both B-sides aren't that exciting to me, nothing new, on the generic side. The choruses just don't quite do it enough for me either. Also, I'm kinda getting tired of Ryouga using "Black Music" in his lyrics, but that's not related. On the other hand, [bLASTED ANIMALS] is warming up to me. It's a catchy and fun tune. I think my initial disappointment came from expecting a sound that was like the covers, dark and intense. It sounds like it's gonna be fine.
Thedane 176 Posted June 1, 2012 AGITATOR and Dizzy you sounds WAY more interesting than blasted animals, shame they'd make a mix like that.
Niku 8 Posted June 2, 2012 Listening to the previews now. I can honestly say that I'm really looking forward to hearing the whole of the title track, despite Ryoga's strange attire, it's sounding like a solid track, imo.
