Daggi_X 2 Posted April 25, 2012 01. Lollipop Kingdom - just an intro, not the worst one as well. 5/10 02. Pastel Horror Yum Yum Show - Silly title, but the song is actually kinda catchy. 7/10 03. ☆Gimme×Gimme☆ - I still don't care about this song... 4/10 04. Toy Soldier - 3/10 05. No! More! War! - weird song. 4/10 06. crispy. - the song would have been much better without those annoying sound effects 6/10 07. Howling Magic - I can actually see myself listening to this song again. Not bad! 7/10 08. sleazy ARMY blood - Another okay song. 6/10 09. yellow strider - this seems to be an interlude. A bad one. 2/10 10. SWEET COUNT DOWN -Album Ver.- - Wow... I find myself liking this song! 8/10 11. Kitanai Kotoba - boring. 2/10 12. Fukanzen Beautyfool Days - meh. 4/10 13. DOKI DOKI TV CREW - Nothing special. 5/10 14. Fancy Cake Yum Yum Show - Again, this song is rather mediocre. 5/10 Unlike their last album, this one did not make me want to kill myself. I guess that's a good thing. There were some nice tracks on there, but most of them sounded like filler material. Overall: 4.8/
sai 868 Posted April 25, 2012 I agree on the fact that it wasn't as ear-splittingly bad as their previous album, in fact, this is the best they've done in the past 2 years. The weakest tracks on the album are the singles (which I didn't bother checking out when they were released) and there are a few unnotable fillers here and there, but there are also way better songs than on TRP. For now I'll give it a 6/
ShanethVarosa 1209 Posted April 26, 2012 I wrote a full review on my Tumblr, but here's a shorter version: I really liked: Crispy., Toy Soldier, Howling Magic, Kitanai Kotoba, Fukanzen Beautyfool Days. Songs I literally would rather jab a fork in my ears than listen to again: Lollipop Kingdom, Pastel Horror Yum Yum Show, No! More! War!, Sweet Count Down, Doki Doki TV Crew, Fancy Cake Yum Yum Show. I had never listened to SuG before this album. I didn't know they did music like this. I found a couple good songs, much like I would with Antic Cafe or LM.C, but mostly kinda crappy songs. I LOVE the idea of Lollipop Kingdom though
Augie1995 325 Posted April 27, 2012 TMH>LK>TRP This album wasn't full of anything great but the songs were decent and compared to Thrill Ride Pirates, this was a huge step up. My favorites: Pastel Horror Yum Yum Show, Crispy, Howling Magic, sleazy ARMY blood, kitanai kotoba, and Fukanzen beautyfool days I'll give it a 7.5/
