Spike760 16 Posted November 23, 2011 Lately I've been watching a bunch of Korean movies. I was wondering if anyone else shares my addiction? Also I'd be interested in any recommendations. One's I've already seen: - The Man From Nowhere - The Chaser - Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance - Oldboy - A Better Tomorrow
Jigsaw9 6783 Posted November 23, 2011 ^ I definitely recommend Sympathy for Lady Vengeance then! (I haven't seen Mr. Vengeance though, is it good?) Also, if you wanna see a pretty creepy/moody horror, watch Tale of Two Sisters. Another really good one is I Saw the Devil, it's more of a horror thriller mix. Mind of the sun 71 Posted November 25, 2011 I have seen Oldboy and A Better Tomorrow. I love style that koreans make movies , allweys good twisteds I wanna see : - Mother - I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK - A Tale of Two Sisters - Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance - A Bittersweet Life - Thirst - I Saw the Devil Have seen all of those except mother! They all are great in their own way but my favorite of those is a bittersweet life, like it more than oldboy in some ways. Another great korean movie you should check out is ''The good, the bad, the weird'' , is a great western adventure movie, its the same director who has made a tale of two sisters and a bittersweet life if i remember correctly! Cupcakes 55 Posted December 1, 2011 I wonder if anyone has seen "Genie" yet? I plan on watching it this weekend, just curious what you guys thought about it.
tosinn 3 Posted December 2, 2011 Definitely Memories of Murder, which is hands down the best Korean movie I've ever watched so far. And if you're into romantic stuff, then I recommend My Sassy Girl and A Moment to Remember.
Dead;Stam;Alive 0 Posted December 4, 2011 Havent watched Genie. If you do come back to say your opinion. A Moment To Remember T_T <3 What do you love about Memories of Murder? I liked it, I even bought it (i had watched it on the internet first) but i just thought it was a decent movie. Gonna watch it again though.
tosinn 3 Posted December 4, 2011 Well, I thought everything about it was great. The actors, the atmosphere, the storyline, and even the pace of the movie itself. Maybe I'm biased, since it's a mystery movie, one of my favorite genres. If you don't like mysteries, you'd think it decent or average.
Dead;Stam;Alive 0 Posted December 5, 2011 I like mysteries. I don't know..First time i watched A Bittersweet Life it was just ok. Now its one of my all time favorite movies. And i m not into gangster or mafia movies. I ll watch Memories of Murder again.
