KUROYUME - HEADACHE AND DUB REEL INCH

Recommended Posts

So, did anyone enjoy this album? I found it pretty much enjoyable...I mean listenable. There were many downs and ups (which I will mention below:)

Ups:

- New, interesting direction of music (for instance, heavy electronica influences in Enter Loop and 13 New Ache...)

- Diversity (From Kiyoharu solo song "Someone" to "Love Me Do", which is reminiscent of "Happy Birthday" off Feminism and then to "Glass Valley's Oar", which is a nice stadium half-ballad, you name it!)

- ...Listenable? (isn't that "headache-y" as SADS' latest releases (I mean, I do like them but geez that feeling you get after looping "7 Deadly Sins" for instance, one hell of a trauma!)

Downs:

- Well, some ideas were recycled...in Kiyoharu-ish manner (Misery and Someone might fit into the repertoire of Kiyoharu but Kuroyume? Nothxbai.)

- Not enough volume in bass + dull basslines in single tracks

- Might get boring in the middleway.

Overall:

A nice comeback album, I kinda dig it, but please Kiyoharu, leave a room for Hitoki too (compositions, main role) - this ain't your solo career dawg!

Welcome back, Black Dream!

Might give it 7/10, but as an elite fanboy, I will reward it...8/10

You can do it better.

Opinions, anyone?

This. Hitoki only composed D.P.I.D.C & Starlet.

Nice album. I wanted it to be more soft like Alone but at least I'm not disappointed.

Starlet is my favorite.
