sai 868 Posted August 7, 2012 Covers have been released! They're on yesasia but I can't save the images for some reason. However, I prefer the regular to the limited, though the limited is more "artsy".
ShanethVarosa 1209 Posted August 7, 2012 Attached is the regular edition version. I LIKE it. A LOT.

No.47 22 Posted August 8, 2012 BUCK-TICK should just be called the "Japanese Rock that doesn't sucks."
guitar.chic92 1 Posted August 8, 2012 I'll just drop the limited edition cover here because I like its artsy-ness, (though I'm sure everyone's seen it by now):
Champ213 1858 Posted August 8, 2012 ^ I like it! Looks like something Gustav Klimt would have done.
Jigsaw9 6783 Posted August 9, 2012 ^ I like it! Looks like something Gustav Klimt would have done. This! There might be a connection there too, since Atsushi is known to like Klimt's works. ^^ Btw the band pic and other cover is also kinda amazing. Bring on the album!!!! Wonrei 108 Posted August 9, 2012 The limited edition is actually part of "Goldfish" by Gustav Klimt.
Jigsaw9 6783 Posted August 10, 2012 ^ Cool; thanks for the info. ^^
sai 868 Posted August 10, 2012 ^ Not an artist I'm familiar with, but judging from the style of art and the execution it might be something I would like (I usually tend to like stuff like this seeing as Munch and van Gogh (though from different art subcultures) are on my favourite artists list. Though no one can beat Dali for me, haha)
Jigsaw9 6783 Posted August 10, 2012 Though no one can beat Dali for me *high five* Btw, to stay on topic, Atsushi and Imai are pretty big Dalí fans as well.
sai 868 Posted August 10, 2012 Really? I didn't know! Anyway, like Jigsaw said, to stay on topic: do they usually reveal previews before the album is released? I remember we discussed Dali during art class in high school, and my art teacher didn't like Dali at all. He claimed it was amateurish to use your pure imagination for paintings and not paint things in a realistic manner. He also said he thought he was a bit nuts since he went to his exhibitions in his wife's heels. I was like "LOL this dude is awesome".
Jigsaw9 6783 Posted August 10, 2012 ^ I think they do release previews before their albums (at least for the last few). Dunno how it will be this time around, seeing that they're on their own label/etc. - if I remember well, previous previews weren't on their own OHP, but the label's site. But I think if there will be previews/samples I'll try to be strong and not listen - to save the magic for later.
ShanethVarosa 1209 Posted August 10, 2012 Probably won't listen to them either, but if I have a moment of weakness I will. I actually can't believe I listened to An Cafe's and the GazettE's previews. I usually like to go in fresh.
Jigsaw9 6783 Posted September 6, 2012 WOWOW will be airing a programme about the 25th anniversary BUCK-TICK FEST 2012 ON PARADE, on 2012/10/28 at 21:00-23:00 (Japan time). Well, I hope some kind soul will be able to record it or something. Anyway, this makes the possibility of a future live DVD of the same event pretty high imo. http://www.wowow.co.jp/live/bt/
sai 868 Posted September 6, 2012 Seeing as the time difference would be 8 hours..that'd be around 2PM for me (or 3PM, if the time difference is 7 hours). If it's 8 and the stream is 2 hours then I can watch it (I'll just try to have all that damn college work done in time). I'll look into ways to record it. Jigsaw9 6783 Posted September 6, 2012 ^ I think WOWOW is a pay-per-view channel, and not available outside Japan, but hopefully they'll think of the overseas fans too (though I kinda doubt it xD)... hmm maybe on NicoNico again, or something?
sai 868 Posted September 6, 2012 ^ Yeah, I saw some prices underneath the announcement so I guess it's for pay (lol). Too bad then.
