yeah i know JIN's vocals can be annoying to a lot of ppl, but all pet owners / dog lovers need to listen to this song:





basically it's a song from the p.o.v. of a dog and its unconditional love for its owner. the perspective switches to the owner for the second verse and vacillates between them for the closing sections of the song; anyway, the final wish of the dog is just for him (the owner) to be by its side when it finally dies :'(

i'm sorry but i really can't do this song justice. as you might know lyrics are very impt to me. this song's lyrics are profoundly moving and i'll translate the first verse (dog's point of view) here to show you what i mean..



*note: the title of the song ("how to spend 2.5 billion seconds") is a reference to the lifespan of a dog.

Deadman aesthetic for a lolita/j-fash meetup today

Late to the party here, but I'm also asexual. I can't really speak for how I see visual kei differently than a sexual person because I've never been a sexual person. I don't really feel like I experience visual kei much differently than my other visual kei friends, since they're mostly not really sexual about band guys and some of them aren't even attracted to men at all. Or even if they are, I'm not the friend they talk about that with because they know I don't really have much to contribute in a conversation about that. 
 
As for visual kei bands being overtly sexual sometimes, that doesn't alienate or bother me at all. I don't speak Japanese and barely ever seek out lyric translations, so I'm speaking more in terms of acting/dressing sexually.This sounds weird, but I actually like sexuality as an aesthetic, but have no interest in watching, fantasizing, or participating in the actual act of sex. I've been questioned/doubted a few times for identifying as asexual and having an interest in "sexy" visual kei,  so the closest relevant thing I can compare it to is when visual kei guys love being a murderer as an aesthetic, but probably wouldn't actually kill someone. Not to compare sex to murder in a moral way, but rather that I don't think it's so weird to take interest in something aesthetically without committing to any real life associated behaviors or lifestyle choices. 
 
It gets a little weird is if I meet a new person and they immediately get into the topic of sexual fantasies/shipping band guys or something. However, I don't know whether to blame my asexuality for that one. My dad was in a fairly popular hair metal band while I was growing up, then later in a smaller band that I traveled with as their merch girl when I was a teenager. Even if it's partially due to being asexual, I think a lot of being put off by the "desperate thirsty fangirl" type is from always seeing that from an inside perspective. The same applies for my general disinterest in groupie/bangya sex gossip. I literally do not care at all about who is fucking who, whether it's in reality or fiction. Regardless, I don't often get stuck in a conversation about that.

I knew they were going to give them the SID push, but didn`t know it was going to be this hard this fast.
 
The song, the video, the car (estimating total boost in annual sales for that car to be 0, how did they even get it lol).
 
If they actually keep at it and pull it off, it would be amazing, no reason for a VK band to not try and play with the big boys in a way other than the horrible style (in my opinion) that PSC tried to do it with bands like ViViD and A9 (still liked a lot of the music by those bands though).
 
To me, the song is quite different from their previous work, but you still have the roots and history of DIV intact, and although things like the programming are more simple progressions, you still get the whole rock sound and Visual Kei element in the rest of the composition, as well as good lyrics ( I can`t understand them all to be honest, like usual his voice is super heavy with the deep exhaling but maybe I will pick it up sometime in the next 100 times I repeat the SPOT). Also most balling PV I have seen outside of SuG for a while.
 
I hope they keep up the quality and are able to make it big. If they keep going like this I can only love and respect them, especially since they can do it while still being a VK band, as opposed to others that act like VK is something to be ashamed of. They seem to actually have the balls to go for it in life.
 
Only big issue I have.... Like twenty seconds of silence in the beginning, have to wait so long for the song to restart, hehe.
