  1. Bon def spoke his mind in Canada when a fan asked what was it like working with Kiwamu.  Sho snorted really loud when the translator said Kiwamus name and then Bon basically said that he wishes Kiwamu would get his act together.  He sent them over not knowing much of what they were suppose to do at all and sent a bunch of extra other band stuff that wasn't Capella's with them or something along those lines.

  2. Love 2nd Awake even though they're more trance-rock than Anarchist Records punk like Werkmare was.

    Endorphin:

Ex-Baiser's vocalist's band after Baiser. Rather similar with a lot of songs sounding like the leftovers of a lot of their popular songs (Angel, Prism, etc) with a lot more crazy electronic stuff going on. They also continued with their creepy mechanical apocalypse thing that Baiser experimented with on songs like "Mechanixx" with song names like "Junk DNA" and album art consisting of intricate gears and shit. You may or may not notice some subtle early Rentrer en Soi similarities: that's because Yukari (vocals) was their producer up until around their first album or so. Apparently there is only one picture of them on the internet, but they were only around for 2 mini-albums and one single. Also, there only seems to be one song of them on youtube. Fixing that right now:

     augh i wish i'd known about this...im sure they're disbanded )':

  3. I saw Capella while I was visiting in Canada.  They're all really nice and gave a great live performance.  I was so excited Peko and Bon recognized my Haru from DOG in the PWO cosplay and called me Haru the whole weekend even when I was out of costume.  It sucks that they're disbanding ):  I hope Bon is in a new band soon.

  4. It's hard to pick a favorite member but Takeshi wins my heart.  That monkey man. ♥   As for favorite song Shinjuku was my first so its close to my heart but I really like their most recent release for their new album.

  5. I can't personally think of too many bands that I enjoy the music but despise the personality but I will say that usually when it comes to me really getting more into a band outside of the music I like learning their personalities.  DOG inthe PWO and Sadie are two of my favorite bands and I feel that my love for them grew stronger as I learned more about the musicians and how much they appreciate their fans.  I feel its humbling for bands to show so much appreciation for fans considering we're what keeps them together in a sense.

I also really like learning the dirt on band men as well through tanuki sadly because it breaks down that wall of idol praising and shows that they are people too. You can see that they're real people through other things too but its like when all you see are oh they went shopping, omg I do that too etc and people keep holding them in this high light  I feel that they need to see good with bad.  Everyone has two sides and just because they're in bands and make music doesn't mean they're all good.

  6. I didn't really see a topic on this so I thought I would put it out there.  During my years of con going I've seen the amount of cosplayers in the music genre decrease in large numbers every year.  Many times I feel like I might be the only one cosplaying until I see a random Ruki or random Miyavi or in recent years at ACEN a handful of LMC thanks to their attendance.  When I first got into vkei and cosplayer there was so much variety in the bands I saw people dressing as, along with the amount of people dressing up.  For a few years at ACEN I took over running the photoshoot meet ups for us but within a few years the turn out was a handful.

Do people still participate in vkei cosplay these days or is it only a handful of us across the nation?  For people that don't cosplay how do you feel when you see other people dressing as these band men?  Any cosplayers that are out there I'd love to see your costumes!  Once I dig up pictures I'll edit my post and put them.

  7. You guys spoke highly of us at the panel? Big mistake... that is unless you were telling this about this awesome guy called Biopanda, then you were spot on. Would have loved to make it to the panel, but moving from Chicago makes that a bit hard XD

Anyways, welcome to the forum! Great to see another Kameleo fan here as well!

thanks for the welcome and yess kameleo!  I still need to listen to their new album but I know I'll be pleased after seeing the pv.  They never let me down.

  8. Hey everyone!  After attending the panel a second time this year I decided to come and attempt to be on forums again.  I have a bad tendency of forgetting my log ins etc or even the forum all together.  I have a feeling that this might be a good place for me though in regards to finding people of common interest.

I like pretty visual kei boys and cosplaying in their liking.  I'm awful with introductions but my crappy attempted at putting info in my profile gives an idea of what bands I like.

Lets talk!  Lets be friends.  Wooo idk..
