This is their heaviest album ever and very unusually for them that this album have only heavy/dark songs, but i agree this is the same old Gazetto as always, but i have no problems, their signature sound is why i like them. I really think Ruki shines on this album his new scream really enjoyable, and vocal performance on some songs is his best ever, some boring vocal too. Overall this is very fun album, people who likes "pop-rock/long ballads Gazette" maybe will be disappointed but their heavy songs much better this time than monotonous songs like psychopath for example.

1 - NIHIL, nice intro, nothing special. 7/10

2 - DOGMA, I like structure of this song, very heavy and dark sound. 9/10

3 - RAGE, fun heavy track, i like melodic chorus. 8/10

4 - DAWN. 8/10

5 - DERACINE, this is already maybe in my top 10 favorite Gazette songs, awesome vocal, awesome chorus, ideal song. 10/10

6 - BIZARRE  8/10

7 - , i like intro but chorus is boring. 6/10

8 - INCUBUS, breakdown after female vocals OMG. 9/10

9 - LUCY, another great intro and another boring chorus. 6/10

10 - GRUDGE, my least favorite, Ruki sounds very boring in this song. 3/10

11 - PARALYSIS, so many heavy fun songs. 8/10

12 - DEUX, biggest surprise for me, I did not like this song when i heard concert version, but studio version is brilliant. 10/10

13 - BLEMISH, least favorite heavy track, still fun song. 7/10

14 - OMINOUS, not their best ballad, still good. 8/10

Overall, 9/10 ha!

Why are they your faves if you think their albums are bad? Lolol (Unless they're Deluhi, in which their releases larger than 2 songs were disasters)

 

 

 

La'Mule's "Berlin" was a fantastic release, as well as their last. Not that their sound really changed a whole lot throughout their career, but that single definitely sticks out as being a fantastic last hurrah in my mind.

 

 

Not sure if it counts or not, but I consider Madeth Gray'll's history album to be their best release since it mixed all of their best songs together and provided better production and improved arrangements which is widely unheard of for a vkei goodbye collection album. 

 

I want to say this would apply to Baiser as well, but making me choose between Hana and Ash is like asking me to choose between my two of my children (the one I like more depends on my mood).

''Bad/boring/ok'' not only bad lmao. Some albums are ok but not comparable with earlier releases. I don't like when people say that long time ago their music were better, but it's true, all my faves new albums are nothing special.

Anyway, i'm biased but Gazette Toxic is good album, best from Sony era.

This is very hard question for me, all albums by my favorite bands are bad/boring/ok.  But I will try to remember a good album.

Agree with Uroboros tho, not my favorite but way better than Dss and Arche.

This album is really heavy wow.

Deux sounds muuuuuch better on the album and Deracine is beautiful.

Lmao, i predict 30% positive and 70% negative. It's not too bad For Gazette here.

My favorite Nightmare albums are Majestical Parade and Ultimate Circus,

After Nightmare(album) I stopped paying to them attention, but still, they used to be in my top 3 favorite vk bands. I just can't listen Yomi's voice anymore. I can't believe they already released three albums after Nightmare, i think i should  listen them someday.
 

I'm assuming that Sony Music Japan will be distributing DOGMA on the US iTunes store, like they've done with every release since TOXIC. Unfortunately, JPU Records doesn't release/distribute anything in the US. They snub us completely. (pretty sure there are legal reasons for it)

ETA: I really hope that every GazettE fan with a US iTunes account buys the album there! I hope it'll do well in the iTunes US Top 200. BEAUTIFUL DEFORMITY made it to #156 around the time it was released.

Well, this album have really big hype, bigger than BD, i also hope they will be high on Oricon, this is most important, for them at least, lmao. But i don't know about Japan, no idea how many people will buy this album, If music is good, I hope Dogma will be do better than BD. Visual kei on the decline already long time.

How dare they to compare Gazette with the great Katatonia, wow I can't believe. If Gazette was 0000,1% as good as Katatonia, i'm so offended, wow......yeah.

Anyway, can't wait, album will be very soon, I really love all previews haha. Please be good! Previews for BD was really good, but when album was released i was disappointed.

Well, at least looks like album doesn't have songs like Shiver. Their pop-rock songs is the worst type of Gazette's songs for me.

Agreed. One thing I do realize is that no matter how one isn't a big fan of the gazette or tries to come off as a big critic of em, curiosity will get the best of em. Same could be said for those who say "they have one last chance"(I'm guilty of this but BD restored faith). These previews could be ass garbage and everyone in this thread would still peep the album and probably find something they like from it. If not, they were able to once again sucker you into spending time outta your day to listen to their material. Admit it or not, the GazettE has that effect on everyone cuz they the GOAT. And are simply unable of ever again making a bad album. Fight me.

Gazette attracts all sort of peoples, fans, former fans, even people who doesn't care about them lol.

They looks funny nowadays, for me their best look from 2007 or 2008. I like angry Adidas Kyo .

I like overall sound of this album, guitars, drums, vocal, all on point even with low quality short previews. I really don't like Toxic sound.

Without questions they spent some money for this album.

Sounds awesome! This is will be their heaviest album for sure, maybe too heavy for them lmao, not all will like this. Ruki sounds maybe best ever in his career, his harsh vocal are really improved. No pop rock songs, good too.

Sounds awesome, their best ballad since Dim scene. i think Ruki sounds really good and i love guitars, really complex for them, good job Gazette.

But i always love their heavy stuff more, and looks like we will get some heavy songs from Dogma, hello 3min songs. But still, for a ballad this is really surprising, because their ballads after Dim was very boring and monotonous for me.

Definitely a song for a single and popularity, but not something I would use to represent the whole album. It sounds good, but nothing special. 

I agree, sounds like typical Gazette song, still good song imo. That's why Dogma is main pv and song(i guess)  for album.

Lol, 3minutes songs domination. Maybe they wrote nice short heavy songs this time and 5minute song better be good.

But overall, all about this album is flawless for me, just give us previews already Ruki!
