I am I the only one who thinks the new Mario looks jank? It looks like they couldn't figure out what to do and the art direction is just an utter mess.

Honestly, since I was totally behind the speakers, it was so hard to judge things. Whenever I played a PV it sounded like absolute garbage from where I was sitting lol.

Welcome to the forum! I'm hyped that people are actually make it on here after my panel. That thing always takes so much more time that I ever expect them to, but to know that people enjoyed it makes it all worth while. Honestly, if you have any feedback for me, I would love to hear it as I am always trying to improve for the following year.

I was hoping that the bassist would give some of the songs more of a different feel, so in that respect I am disappointed, but I can hardly say that I think that this mini sounds bad.

Headcanon

Zelda has really sunk its teeth in to me, I've been playing it a fair amount recently. This is pretty surprising given that I have never been a Zelda fan. I could go on and on as to why that is, but that is a different topic. But they hype got me and I picked up Breath of the Wild. And man am I glad I did. I still think the combat is a little clunky, but man this world really is magically. I am not sure if I have ever played an open world game that has felt quite as alive of BotW.

I really feel you there. I really did love the game, but like when you really look at what it could have been (or should have been), it makes me a bit sad. That said, I do feel like it renews my hope in FF as a series. I couldn't stand XIII and they rode that in to the ground, so I was kind of thinking that I was going to be done with the series as a whole if FFXV wasn't great.

Yeah, that was from the first panel at Anime Central (2008 I think? Could have been '09)....oh boy was that a shit show planning wise. We were pretty much putting it together up until like 10 minutes before the panel.

Oh man, I kind of forgot about MEGIDDO. For as much as that disbandment sucked, I can't think of any other VK band that has gone out on such a high note.

When you look back at the time you have spent here, no matter how long it has been, what is the album that has defines Monochrome Heaven for YOU? It can be the album you feel encompasses the mood of the forum, the album that meant the most to you during your time visiting here, that rare album that you finally found, or any other possible reason. Make sure you explain why it is as well! For me, that album HAS to be D'espairsRay's Coll:set. The dark and edgy mood mixed with excellent song writing was just what teen Ito craved and was looking for more off when he was setting up the the forum. I mean, if it wasn't obvious, just look at the forum's original name - Tainted World. Gee, I wonder where we came up with that idea from...

With the forum being around for a decade, a lot of you have changed your user names or had multiple accounts. Add in the fact that you have probably changed your avatar a bunch of times, and it's going to be pretty hard to remember everyone across such a long span of time. So let's share all of our old usernames below! And if you still have them floating on a hard drive somewhere, include an old avatar or two.

Reading all of these has been way too much fun. I love hearing about everyone stories. I want to reply to like all of you, but I don't want to clog up the thread with that (at least not yet lol). I'm surprised no one has brought up Spike760's band's "fake rarez" demos or gay Egyptians.
