I'm only going to list non-VK bands, and to me, bands that have consistently been producing quality ( > 2) releases are: 1) アルカラ. One of my most favorites. Original Saku posted two of their albums quite some time ago and I was sold to try them out without knowing anything about them beforehand and yes, BOY NEXT DOOR hooked me up. I love their catchy, fun style; the following releases after 'BOY NEXT DOOR' kind of went downhill (but still good!), but then 'おかわりください' came out and their latest album, 'ドラマ', also didn't disappoint me at all. It was great - enjoyable to listen to. Have these guys ever sucked? No. Not yet. 2) Fugenn & The White Elephants. I have to point out first that IDM was not really my thing... And looking back, the fact that I listened to 'Lycoris' all due to curiosity of exploring new music was quite fortuitous - yet it turned out to be a bless, lol. 'Prays' was all sorts of awesomeness, man. Give the record a spin or two and you'll fall for it. Deep. 3) 八十八ヶ所巡礼. I believe it was either because of Cat or Lukrecia that I ended up loving '八+八'. Really crazy and 'compelling' stuff, although the vocal at first kind of disturbed me. SYG88 and ○△□ were an even crazier continuation of their signature style - definitely eargasmic and blah blah. They're probably too bizarre to some, but that doesn't cease the fact that they're amazing. 4) オワリカラ. Ah, yeah. The guys've been dope even since their demos. Out of all of their releases to date, I loved イギー・ポップと讃美歌 the most, though - the tracks on Iggy Pop stood out more and I just fancied it as a whole. 5) Akutagawa. "AKUTAGAWA is an emotive hardcore band with post-rock elements on their music...." - doesn't sound really convincing, no? Well. Just try their S/T. And 'dawn' (my most favorite from them. So emotional. So excellent). And 'Kimi to Boku'. Everything. Everything. 6-7) Psysalia Psysalis Psyche and number0. What else do I need to say. ;___; That's it, perhaps? I would've added Veni Vidi Vicious to the list, actually, but 'Good Days' was a flop, so yeah.

I'm not impressed at all. Kind of boring too. I actually checked out the lyrics' translation and it was alright - I didn't see why it was censored, tbqh. Some harsh Korean words perhaps? :s And yes, I expected something quite different, as well. xD

ONE OK ROCK - 未完成交響曲.

The Bourne Legacy. Seriously, what the fuck. What the fuck happened. The plot is terribad. The script is lackluster. It's an insult towards the trilogy, cause not even Renner and Weisz's great acting combined could save the movie. How I wish this was directed by Greengrass.

the GazettE, because I enjoyed their songs more. I never really got into DEG, so of course I voted for the former.

I was curious, and also in dire need of something refreshing - something catchy. I was already over VK when I started listening to K-Pop.. But what made me listen to the music was not because of looks (hey, I believe this is one of the main reasons for most of the people who shift into the scene); I didn't really watch MV/performances and the boys were not all that appealing to me. Until now, I'm still not a fan myself - it is just something to dig when I kind of feel like listening to fun, light music without thinking of anything. Not the shabby lyrics, its lack of originality - just listen and forget.

I've been sleeping too much my mind is in state of disarray. I can't remember dates anymore. I start to forget days. Oh, lol. College will start soon, though. New semester and all. New curriculum. Um... I dunno. Engineering Mechanics doesn't sound bad. And Physics and Chemistry, I'm gonna have to take those two too. Seriouslyyyy.

I didn't feel better since Monday. I lost my appetite, and I was (and still am, though) really worried about too many things it stressed me out. I could only lay down in bed while feeling my head ache and my vision go blurry. I'm glad I got to eat and feel better this morning.. I've also settled down some problems that apparently directly contributed to my condition, so yeah. Not to mention that the Ied is coming~! Which can only mean food. Cookies, cakes~ :'D

I've been single for the past 6 years, and I'm happy. There were times when I suddenly felt lonely, and needed someone to talk to and share things with, but I guess I've moved on. Just like what a close friend of mine once remarked, I'm enjoying my solitude and currently not interested in seeing any guy.

What Nyasagi said is true. And I dunno... As far as I'm concerned, there are plenty of bands like that in Indonesia, visual or not - most prominently in Yogyakarta, Central and East Java (West Java has a few, but it's nothing compared to those three provinces, though I might be wrong). Some do have Japanese stage names and sing in that language, some only have their music infused with typical Japanese bands' sounds, and some take it to the other level by performing in dresses - it's still a common thing to be found considering a lot of Japanese bands are still ridiculously hyped here. They mostly only appear in local festivals and rarely make it big... The industry as a whole doesn't seem to take them pretty seriously.

It's doesn't matter. Age difference is really not an issue, although I do prefer dating someone who's older (3-10 years is alright) than me.

I never really got into them. I mean, I've tried hard to like them after listening to Shock of the New Era, Beast is the B2ST, Mastermind, Lights go on again... But it was only a single song, Fiction that I truly liked. :/

RAAAAAAAAAAGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Seriously, though. They're one of a very few bands that I have loved for years. It's so unexpected. :'[

So. I decided to try them out for the very first time by listening to The Original, and it actually was pretty good. Any recommendation (particularly for their more upbeat sounds) is welcomed!

I regularly rotate music on my phone since its storage capacity is only 2GB of size, but there are certain artists I usually let to stay for awhile, like Big Bang, MBLAQ, 2NE1 and EXO - those I'm never tired to listen to whenever I'm on the road.
