I think I'm the only person ok with this. They had a great run. I didn't even realize it's been 11 years. I'll miss them, but I think this is fine.

I like it and see nothing wrong with a song that will probably cater to a wider mainstream audience. As along as this isn't every release like this, I don't mind it occasionally.

I feel like they try too hard to make their songs sound epic. Code Rebirth's songs weren't the most technical or creative, but the flow, singing, and overall composition felt natural and was done perfectly.

I'm also curious about these ghost writing bands.

Kagrra (disbanded) - went through an obsession with them, but now when I go back for the nostalgia, it's just not there for me anymore. If you've never heard them before, at least give a listen because they actually are really good musicians. SID - I know they are still cranking out the good tunes, but I'm just not feeling them anymore. I don't even look at them for nostalgia. Ayabie - They started their decline when Ryohei left and then they were basically dead to me after Aoi was gone. Metis Gretel - really have NO idea why I was so obsessed with them. lol Exist Trace - WTF. Like the ONLY VK girl group really killing it and then you went completely left....argh. ----ALL J-POP music----WTF HAPPEN. It all sounds soooo generic and boring now. Outside Japan: Linkin Park - After album 2...I don't even know what happened there... Incubus - I'm so sad because they were the band who actually made me like rock music. They've gotten really mediocre and mellow lately. AFI - same thing as Incubus. Busta Rhymes - Afte E.L.E., I wasn't feeling him anymore.

Most of my VK experiences come from anime conventions. lol. I know lame. L'arc en Ciel/VAMP - Otakon 04' and Otakon 13'? - In 04', L' arc en Ciel ripped it up and that's when I started falling in love with Japanese music. Hyde tried to ask us if we ate "crabs", but it came out sounding like "crap" XD . I was also in the DVD that they shot (during "Driver's High" the camera rolls pass my friends and I)!! . When Hyde came back for Vamp, he once again tried to ask us about "crabs", but failed again. lol It was funny, but really awesome show. MUCC - Otakon 06' - Tatsurou had an obsession with flipping us off which caused a lot of the crowd to flip him off too. lol All in good humor. Mosh pits and headbanging ensued.

Possibly 1 album is a re-recording? or best of album? I'm just trying to make sense of this! lol But then again, I've made like 50-60 songs that aren't fully recorded yet. I know Linkin Park said in an interview that they have like 100 or so songs that are unreleased... maybe they are just going through EVERY INCH of their music to make 2 albums...hmmm...I'm excited and nervous at the same time. lol

I'm happy Mejibray is taking a break. I really agree with the fact that they haven't really put out anything too great for awhile now and it could do their music wonders. Think about the Gazette. Whether you hated or love their Dogma project, it was a HUGE refreshment from what they were putting out prior. That almost 2 year gap between releases helped them tremendously. ----- that's all I have to say opinion wise on the matter. If you want to continue reading after this, I just jumped into the most recent debate for a quick spell. Nothing serious. ---- To say that the opinion of a fan who buys their products, but doesn't see their lives is unimportant is wrong though. Whether buying their ticket and seeing them live or buying their stuff, that money IS what keeps the band going. I don't think the band really would care if 5 people didn't show up to a show, but 5 people bought their DVD, CDs, posters, etc. at the same value as the ticket. Also, some people aren't able to make it out to a show (small venue, tickes sold out. Work schedule conflicts, etc, etc) or can't even get to be in Japan to see these bands. Their opinion might not matter to you, but it does matter. But I'm sure you've seen EVERY band live before you decided to criticize them or like them, right? I agree with this statement, except the studio album part. With the technology available to sound engineers, you can take someone who sounds as nasally and flat as Sakito (ex. Duel e Quartz) and make him sound as godly as Asagi from D. You can take anything from the "CRAPPY songs to cure people from rare indies bands obsession" thread and make it sound like L'arc en CIel or Dir en Grey gold. It has no indicate of the skill. In conclusion, all of your opinions are valid to a degree because that is what keeps the band alive. Buying tickets, buying products, and SPREADING THE WORD about the band whether good or band KEEPS THE BAND ALIVE because it all leads to monetary value for the band to continue. Sorry to go on and on and on. lol.

Actually, I'm highly interested in this band. lol That trap song was unexpected, but didn't make me hate them for it. I think they could do it, but they have to fuse it better with more of their sound in their MV (or perhaps they should just not shoot a music video for it XD). It seems VK isn't dead this year after all.

Pretty much somes up my thoughts even after seeing the full version MV of Trigger.

Gorillaz "Humanz" album

I really am excited for this!! I felt they were starting to lose their spunk, but they are back so hard right now! I love "Adam". I found this. The music videos above look kind of poor TBH. I wonder why the drop in quality as up until now, the videos seemed to still look professional. Those videos kind of look like they were done from a high school video productions class or something. Still the music is amazing! Go A9!

Seeing tenten age in his 30s really makes me hopefully as I move along through mine. Lol song sounds nice.

HOSHI FURU "HOSHI FURU 2"

When I listen to kpop or khiphop, people don't seem to care as much because it sounds "american", but for my jrock music - they tend to dismiss it and get confused as to why I'd bother with it. I'm not sure if it's the song structure or the language barrier.

I'm addicted to catchy choruses so: Code Re:birth "The Daylight" Cheetah "Star Warz" Twice "TT" My Bacteria Heat Island "凶の世界"

This is their 7th album!?! Didn't know they made that many lol
