I don't know what happened, so I'm going to assume there is some reason the mods have all converged towards that ban and they weren't just being bullies. But even if Trombe was in the wrong, that does not in any way invalidate all the valuable contributions this person brought to the News section and the forum in general. I find it in poor taste to suddenly start acting as if his work wasn't such a big deal or even worse, that it was inconvenient this person was so thorough in news coverage. I didn't see anyone complain about this before, so It feels disingenuous to start downplaying his/her work now that he/she won't post anymore. I'm sure it's not the same for everyone here, but take a step back and it's easy to realize some of us were really appreciative of all the news posted, either minor or major, and in very due time. Just an opinion from someone who barely posts and has no particular sympathies for anyone.

I have a separate folder for Japanese artists and bands (also for Chinese & Korean music; the rest goes under my general Music folder). Inside, I have separate folders for every letter of the alphabet. Then it's the classic Artist -> Releases -> Tracks format. I name every release like this: [release date: year/month/day] [type: single/album/mini-album] Release Name. It would be great if I were as neat and organized in everything and not just with my music.

Probably the first XAA-XAA release that I'm not too crazy about. I still need to give it a few more listens and see if it grows on me some more. My favorite releases still remain Kowai Kurai and Shinitai mini-albums.

This is exactly how it went for me too, I owe my introduction and appreciation of Post-Punk music to them and Lillies and Remains. And I agree SECRET POSTCARD is one of their best works. As for the main post, that's a very convincing and well-written introduction to the band. It would definitely make me check them out if I had no idea who they were. Not sure about the order, but my personal top 10 would look something like this: 1. Sleepwalker 2. Wire Tensioning Method 3. Witch 4. KMKZ 5. CRACK 6. Scent 7. Shooting Star 8. MANIAC (Michael Sembello cover) 9. B U G 10. LOVE

I am more surprised he actually pushed through with the band all this time in his condition. I remember reading news about his illness and how he managed to recover and come back to music time and time again, even after multiple relapses. This latest development is truly unfortunate and heartbreaking.

I like all Sharaku projects, but it would be really cool if they'd release something new.

4/10 bands from my previous list are no more and 1 hasn't released anything since >_< So: DEZERT Grieva THE GALLO DADAROMA LIPHLICH XAA-XAA R-Shitei dummy-xD (wouldn't really call them VK but they're on vkdb so I'll go with that) Kuroyuri to Kage Plastic Tree Only active bands, no particular order and no AvelCain since they're over. And no MUNIMUNI since I'm anticipating their next release in 2025.

This band came out of left field for me, I was clearly out of the loop, but that song is pure awesomeness. It was about time for some industrial VK. I hope they have more like this. And with Rieu from Despair in the band, they really can't go wrong with them industrial sections.

I actually think I like Reschwa Limize just as much as I did Annabyss Coast. I'm glad at least this Yasu project is still on-going.

乱想グランギニョル is basically DADAROMA's SEX! And I remember they also ripped off DEZERT on their first single. Lol too soon guys!

Well that is some highly unexpected yet totally exciting news. Hope their comeback will be fruitful!

Very cool. Was just listening to them the other day and thinking it was about time they announced a new release.

Personally I enjoyed pretty much everything they released so far. It's very terrible news for me. I hope they decide to come back eventually.

To be honest this band seemed like it was heading towards disbandment a long time ago. Was really surprised when they came out with a new look & single at the beginning of the year. It's too bad, they were a pretty good band.

It used to happen to me quite frequently when I was younger. At some point, I was able to "predict" what song would follow in a randomized playlist a few times in a row. That, or it would play what song I desired to hear next. Always thought it was a bit weird, but I completely forgot about this happening until I saw this post.
