credits to: Nihon Ongaku; appears to be 128kbps
it sounds like they re-recorded vocals for the most part and also some of the songs sound remixed/re-recorded. His vocals are a lot improved.
also I hope..they continue as a band..

If u don't have enough new materials just release a mini album or a E.P
Yeah I hope Yuya and Shun will not disapointed me
i hate to say it but his voice was completely gone by Story.. -- at the time I was excited to see that they were remaking Aishuu Melancholia, but they probably shouldnt have touched that..just my opinion.
I think there's only 3 new tracks btw..
01. Bennu
02. 修羅 (Shura) -- mentioned by the others - its a B side from Chronos
03. It ’s just love - was a single/also on Story
04. Days - on Story
05. 僕の糸、君の意図 (Boku no Ito, Kimi no Ito)
06. LIVE - is on their mini-album Jewel
07. デッドマンズ・ホープ (Dead Man's Hope) - is apparently on Jewel
08. Chronos - is on Story.
09. 鬼哭啾々 (Kikokushuushuu) - is on mini-album Duel
10. Red Rose - is on mini-album Duel
11. 自我 (Jiga)
12. 雪のアスタリスク (Yuki no Asterisk) - mentioned by the others - its on Story; + a single
I'm sure Gackt pulls that type of shit a lot? (unless its the record company) Example - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Re:Born
also Duel Jewel had other songs they could have released like Knot when the vocalist was ?absent:

I'm also in the camp who never enjoyed FED as much as I hoped I could, but the track is 50% boring djent fuckery. I admit it has an amazing solo, but that's the case for almost every Leda track. I'd pick something like "Beyond These Walls" over "Inhale" any day-- and "Beyond These Walls" still has semi-cringe verse vocals..
@TheStoic brings up an excellent point about the recording sound/mixes, but unfortunately, I think that is a problem with Visual Kei across the board in 2019. The sound a lot of us may be yearning for when we think of DELUHI is partially intertwined with 2000's production techniques, that have been left in the 2000's. Oh, real-sounding drums, where art thou?
Leda was suuuuuch a monster musician a decade ago, between Crimson Head, Galneryus, and DELUHI-- let alone how much he's progressed since. I'm just hoping in the next chapter he gives all that talent the setting it deserves. Better vocalist, better sounding recordings, and less trying to be like Animals as Leaders when you have the melodic charisma that Animals as Leaders doesn't.
i'm late to the party..
so no one liked False?? That was actually a decent song. I dont think they made anything else in that vein of symphonic (keyboard) accompaniment.
Disgracer had a neat arrangement too - those bass slaps in the beginning were masked by sequencers

Funnily Ken was involved in co-producing this track, along with most of the tracks in Kyuutai.

What's funnier is that the Zi:Kill vocalist Tusk took over Kenichi's role in Craze when they were still around. They both sound similar. I think last time i checked up on Tusk's activities he was going solo playing acoustic.

Awesome cover to an awesome song.

It was an awesome place. I have lots of good memories/tons of cool new music discoveries thanks to it, especially from my early years getting into J-rock. Sad to see it go.I lost some files after megaupload got brought down, i have found some of those files luckily in other file hosts. I also just discovered some of those files are in this website, also I'm pretty sure with similar file names. Only this time, most of them can be downloaded via direct download from the site.

Tsumi toBatsu is an amazing song, and the new version will butcher it. There's simpley no doubt about that.troll. the original was terrible...and was from their worst "album". Jeez
Dir en grey will make this bad song much much muchhh better, I'm sure of it!
Well at the end of the day it all comes down to personal opinion. Some people prefer their VK era rather than their contemporary one or simply just love most of their material. I thought Gauze was an amazing album. We have yet to hear this new single before we all start strangling each other.

Yeah, Relentless you're right from what i saw in the setlists, the Japanese leg of the tour had most of the old school songs but not all of them i have listed are 「a knot?? only. The overseas leg of the tour comprised mostly of songs that fell in between the Vulgar and Uroburos eras. However, Rasetsukoku was the only old song they played and it had been played very frequently.
Old songs only played in「a knot??gigs
Jealous - Unknown... Despair... a Lost
Gauze- 304 GOUSHITSU, HAKUSHI NO SAKURA
Macabre - Hotarubi, Myaku
Vulgar - Increase Blue
Old songs only played in normal gigs (Japan)
Kaede: If Trans... - Karma
Macabre - Wake
Kisou - mushi, karasu
Vulgar - Drain Away, RED... [em]
Old songs played in both「a knot??& normal gigs (Japan)
Gauze - Mazohyst of Decadence
Macabre - Deity, Rasetsukoku*
Kisou - GYAKUJOUTANNOU KELOID MILK, embryo, Shinsou (over PA)
Six Ugly - Byo「??Shin, Mr. NEWSMAN
Vulgar - Kasumi, audience killer loop, The IIID Empire, Shokubeni, Sajou no Uta, New Age Culture, Child Prey
Kasumi- Fukai
ain't afraid to die
* - Played in 19/19 gigs of the Overseas leg and 11/24 gigs of the Japanese leg, even in Japan's Loud Park Festival. Surely not a coincidence.
-
These are some really old songs (1998 - 2003) used in their recent setlists (hope it's accurate):
(The Unwavering Fact Of Tomorrow, Japan, 2011)
Gauze - mazohyst of decadence
Macabre - deity, Rasetsukoku
Ain't Afraid to Die
Kisou - KARASU
(The Unwavering Fact Of Tomorrow, Japan, 2010)
Kaede: If Trans... - Karma
Jealous - Unknown... Despair... a Lost
Gauze - 304 GOUSHITSU, HAKUSHI NO SAKURA
Macabre - Wake, Myaku, Hotarubi
Kisou - GYAKUJOU TANNOU KELOID MILK, Shinsou (over PA), mushi, embryo
Six Ugly - Mr Newsman, Byou Shin
Vulgar - Drain Away, Shokubeni, New Age Culture, Sajou no Uta, Kasumi, Child Prey, THE IIID EMPIRE
Kasumi - Fukai
Some of this just shocks me, if you click on the song name, it shows you when it was played last and if you go right down to the bottom - it tells you some of the songs they've covered but again accuracy is the question.
-
There is a pattern with their rerecorded B sides ever since Dozing Green. Now all they're missing are the Missa, Six Ugly (excluding Children & Byo shin since they've already been rerecorded) , WTD and TMOAB eras, IF they intend to do that.
Hydra 666 (Macabre era)
Undecided (Kisou era)
Zan (Gauze era)
Obscure (Vulgar era)

As i had been saying, there is a difference like in the preview of Honrou. The drums are different. The bass is also different and minor changes in the guitar parts. Clearly edited after his death. All of the initial releases have either been partially or wholly edited.
This was Daisuke's new unit (sae, Nakayama takashi, kazu & Atsuhito) not Daisuke's friends only band. This completion of the album is a tribute. His friends were not a part of the official line-up or the initial recording process but simply friends finishing off and adding their own contributions to what he and his band started. It was really about Daisuke & the Black Hermits.

HOLD YOU SOFTLY(BODY)*acoustic with Die(DIR EN GREY)
STILL MY LOVE(BODY) *acoustic with Die(DIR EN GREY)
Woah i didnt know Cipher got that close to Die lol. Nice.
-
Yeah, and the quality is really really terrible. It's like 28kbps. Like I said, I can be wrong, but re-recording those songs would be just kinda retarded and pointless. Out of 12 songs only 4 doesn't have Daisuke's vocals. And one of those 4 has Daisuke's drumming. And you're saying they're recorded after he died? There is absolutely no reason for him to use strictly only those guys who play with him at lives. Friends play for friends even when they're not dead.Okay i apologise for saying rerecording, i meant editing. Honrou sounds the same, you are right. It's because of the quality but Daisuke passed away before the completion of the album.
And as i've been saying they were completed by his friends. The whole point of a new unit does not involve inviting every single one of your friends but rather a few. Kyo from Dir en grey, for e.g., they are always busy touring, he stopped to record for the sake of his fallen brother and protege as did the others.
EDIT - I didn't mean it like that. Daisuke's vocals and drums had been recorded prior to his death.
-
Honrou is not the same. Listen to the drums in the beginning, it's clearly different, its more raw than the other one.
-
This same site lists Sugizo as an "official" member of Acid Black Cherry too, though he only participates in recordings. hide's Spread Beaver were official members during "Ja, Zoo", but hide still played everything except drums in almost every song. My point is, just because kazu and friends are included in promo-pictures, it doesn't mean they have to play on CD. Solo artists just do this. And there's simply no reason to re-record those songs that are already released. And it's not silly to have people from previous bands to play for you, because in kagerou and the studs, most of the music was written by the other members. The other reason I believe most of these were recorded before his death, is because they said he had a mini-album almost ready and it was scheduled for september. And they played the epic-choir-song during his funeral. That was probably without vocals though.
I could be wrong about re-recordings, but there hasn't been any word of that. I guess we have to wait and see.
Look at track 8 and compare it with the single version, you say there are no edits. The drums are different in the beginning in fact its not even played by the "official" drummer. These are clearly done in honor of Daisuke and posthumous as i keep saying over and over again.
Even . wikipedia jp and that site yunisan lists the other artists as 追悼盤??加 (Memorial band) or something like mourning board. And as for Acid Black Cherry, keep following the official line up in that yunisan site, as the releases start increasing. The line up starts to change. Sugizo does not appear in it anymore, Chisato disappears etc etc.

I was wondering if anyone had any band scores for Dead End?
