  1. So, is this Satoshi-Band still active?  I really, really liked his voice in girugamesh and always found it a bit weird that he kinds just disappeared after their breakup. But then, I missed on so much the past years, I wouldn't even heared of it if he formed a band with Godzilla as drummer.

  2. Does anyone know if there is a blog or something, that translated more than just the first chapter of BAROQUE's Ryou's book "鬱病ロッカー (Depressed Rocker)"?

I'd love to read it, but only found one tumblr page about it, and can't see when it last was updated or if it is still active an all.

So does anyone have any insight on the politics of Merry/Gara (assuming he writes all the lyrics)? I haven't followed them in awhile, but the nationalist and vaguely anti-imperialist lyrics in Japanese Modernist are interesting to me. Political lyrics seem somewhat unusual for VK.

I second that. I believe "Happy Life" and this one song named after an underground line in Tokyo were also quite socio-critical

    - in 2007 when Kannivalism   release the single Hoshi no Yoru Kei did not deign to show up, or even answer the phone, at the start of the promotion, so their record company decided to force him to sleep on the 3rd floor of the Avex offices in Tokyo in a closet surrounded by cardboard boxes.

What? That sounds like this industry...but still...

  5. I like the topics of your threads, Nya.

Can't contribute much, though, with this one.

I just guess bansaku and akira very much dislike ryou and kei from baroque by now?

Yea but sometimes people that were abused and belittle when they were younger will want power over others when are older not all but some

I agree. But then, it also depends on how reflected someone is about the one childhood and so on. I just can't see Kyo as a person who just continues what he was going through. But then, again, I'm biased, plus my fiance as my ex boyfriend were hit and abused as children and are very non-violent and clearly state that abuse is wrong.

I guess we will never know for sure, I just wish I didn't read all this horrible things.

  7. I've always been under the impression that Kyo is a person who very much dislikes violence against weaker people, considering his lyrics and childhood.

    this.

But maybe it is just me not wanting to see Kyo and Daisuke as really bad people treating women and roadies as shit.
