After Anfiel and FoLLoW @hirokimade me discover a new band, before I start to listen ViV I had a few apprehension about Hirohiro yes is true he is not the best vk singer, he don't have the most powerful voice or the most melodic voice but I don't find his voice weird and I think his voice has improved when you listen "BE THERE / MELODIES" single and "anagram / EMOTION". I hope RayJi will not retire and will continue, for me he is one of the best bassists in the vk scene if I make a top 10 of the best bassists it will be in the top 5, coz of him I want to replay bass, he is a amazing bass player on some songs he plays in counter melody or sometimes the bass take the lead and become more important than the guitar line, and I really understand why he sarted composing more technical songs for the band. It's a sweet pleasures for my ears to listen to the sound of his bass coz his bass lines are very technical (slides, hammer on/pulling off, slap, appoggiatura, etc....), like FoLLOW I have the same feeling, the feeling that they don't have the success they deserve @echo when you saw them for their last live you remember if RayJi played only with pick and like 99% vk bassit he only play with his finger when it's ballads songs /soft songs/mid-tempo songs or he alternates between the pick and his fingers ?

I am surprised to see that no one mentioned Resistar Records, the three groups that are signed on this label Dog in the pwo, Bug-Lug and Blue Billion have a good popularity and most of their final tours take place in large concert halls for indie visual kei bands, like Dog in the pwo who played in Tokyo Dome City Hall which has a capacity of 3,000 places or Bug-Lug who will play in Budokan this coming May.

The disband of the group comes from many points the two guitarists Aiji and Jun became bored to played in Pierrot and had no inspiration at same time Kirito was also bored and thought to start a solo career during one year Pierrot was on hiatus. During this break Kiritio did a temporary solo career during his solo career some rumors some rumors appeared like Kirito will quit Pierrot and focus on his solo career, when the one year break was over Aiji and Jun asked for a another break for started their own solo careers and when this second break will be over they will be back in Pierrot and at the same time they will continue their solo careers but Kirito was not agree about that and said to them will be hard to have solo career and at the same time still play in Pierrot. Tensions have arisen Kirito, Kotha and Takeo wanted focus only on Pierrot (that's why after the disband of Pierrot the three of us have formed Angelo) while Aiji and Jun wanted to have a solo career and continue to play in Pierrot. Kiritio and Aiji are really stubborn so I think that's why after they released their last single "Hello" they disband quickly withtout did a last concert or a last tour.

Like some peoples of this thread I liked their song "Pinocchio" on the V.A album 妖幻鏡 -WEST- Vol.2 ～大阪・名古屋連合～ the rest of theirs disco is so good it has been a very long time since I heard a very good pop-rock band like them, it's unfair they don't became successful enough for continue their activities theirs songs are so catchy and addictive, theirs ballades song are very touchy. Surprise to not see Mask I prefer the first line-up with Aoi on vocal his voice are better than Jin My fav song of Serial Number I lost my interest on this band coz of the multiple changes of the line up And for finish the "king" of Oshare kei who are still alive, Keyuu voice is powerful and wonderful, Yuura bass line are so incredible, the previous guitarist Mai was good but for me the new guitarist Taizo is better and Yasuno is a solid drummer

It's a really interesting discussion, I learned many things about theirs Beautiful Freaks era I always thought it was Yuu who was behind their musical change because he composed all the songs of Beautiful Freaks except Shoudoku who was composed by Nero. I found this strange that Yuu composed heavier songs whereas in MERRY previous albums he composed all MERRY jazzy/blues rock sound and was Nero or Kenichi who composed heavier songs. So now I understand more why during Beautiful Freaks ear Yuu changed his musical taste
