This is a sad day. They are one of my all-time favourite bands. What's the reason behind this choice? Did they just grow tired of the band? I hope Satoshi can focus on REDMAN at this point and maybe the other members will still continue doing music too.

Oh yes, I loved their debut mini. Can't wait.
-
This is great news, I hope he's also working with the band on a new RADWIMPS album, I'm more interested in that than his solo project.
-
I prefer their self-titled album for the reason you stated, it's just catchier. The new album seems to have went in a more serious direction, more complex songs but overall less fun I'd say. I do like the album but wish it were more like the first. Everything is IMO.

They are disbanding or going on hiatus? Tokyohive reported the latter, really hope it's not the end for this band.
-
I'm not feeling this as much as Gravitation, sounds good but there's something missing. Just not as exciting as their previous release.

Well if you want to disable absolutely everything (like removing the pre-installed apps and such) you'll need more knowledge than the average windows user has but I doubt those users even care, it's always the more expert ones that are going to worry about privacy issues. I mean look at people sharing their lifes on every social network, do you think they even consider these things? Not to mention that just being connected to the internet implies a certain degree of tracking which you can hardly escape from. Google is doing it, facebook is doing, and so are many others, it was only a matter of time before microsoft joined the club. While I do not approve of their new ways at least I can disable most of these settings from the OS itself and rest by editing the registry. Granted it may not be an easy process to do so but if you value your privacy you're gonna learn how to do it. Personally I hate those who bitch about this situation but then facebook and twitter know the exact time when he's using the toilet.... Unfortunately the future is bleak, if you're a windows user sooner or later you're gonna have to upgrade and what's in store is already known, you either deal with it, stay on 7 forever or completely change OS. I highly doubt they are going to give up on spying on users, it's how they make money.

You can disable everything and it won't track a single thing, why do people keep saying it like you don't have a choice? If you are too lazy to click on some options then you deserve to be tracked by microsoft (I'm not talking about you, just in general). Now if we believe in conspiracy theories there might still be some hidden code that will observe your habits. Also, while I do not use my PC exclusively for gaming I do play a fair amount of games, mostly recent ones and free to play like LoL and CS, and nothing has ever crashed. The more you read around the more negative things you'll find so no point in doing it, it's better to just try it yourself, it will take you 30 minutes to install it and eventually downgrade to 7 if you don't like it. You won't lose any files or programs during the upgrade and if you chose to go back to 7 everything will be exactly as it was prior to the upgrade.

I upgraded and after that I did a fresh install. IMO besides directx12 and a few minor things (like cortana, if that's your thing, or changes in the UI) there's nothing that really stands out to make it much different from W7. You can pretty much disable everything that is related to your privacy if you feel like windows is collecting too much data on what you are doing so no problem there. Some say it runs better on older PCs than W7, so if that's your case it might be worth a try since you can downgrade back to 7 if you don't like it. Also there are no bugs or such worth mentioning, works just fine, of course it might not be perfect but 7 isn't either so given a few more months it should become a lot more stable. Personally I like it, but I just upgraded for the sake of doing so.

Couldn't agree more with your review, it's an almost perfect album from every point of view. HAGANE is my favourite song from the new album.

Ah c'mon, every japanese band only plays in Milan. Wish for once they'd come to Rome....

What foobar skin is this? xD

I've had this for almost 10 months. I think it's time to change it lol.

That awkward moment when you only know one band from the whole list, which is Kuroyume. Listened to the 2 songs you linked but it's not something I'd listen to again, at least not to the Coaltar of the Deepers's song, I kinda found the Syndrome ballad to be pretty enjoyable. Studio "Syrup Comfiture/市松椿 - liberate me (Ichimatsu Tsubaki/Studio "Syrup Comfiture" - liberate me) じん ft. メイリア from GARNiDELiA - daze (Jin ft. MARiA from GARNiDELiA - daze) ナノ - SABLE (Nano - Sable) 水樹奈々 - 禁断のレジスタンス (Nana Mizuki - Kindan no Resistance) CLUTCHO - Billy Billy school food punishment - feedback ヒトリエ - インパーフェクション (Hitorie - Imperfection) 澤野弘之 - No differences (Sawano Hiroyuki - No differences) Security Politti - TRINITY×SEVENTH+HEAVEN The Mirraz - 世界一キレイなもの (The Mirraz - Sekai Ichi Kireina Mono) Shame only a touhou arrange came up. The others are mostly anime songs with a few exceptions. school food punishment's song was a pleasant surprise since I didn't listen to this band in a long time. My current favourite is Sekai Ichi Kiraina Mono, relaxing yet catchy.

If it's anything like the last single I'll be disappointed. MLF was pretty good but the other 2 songs were so mediocre and forgetable. Either way it's gonna be another blind buy as soon as it's up for pre-order since I can't resist.

The only one I don't know is LAREINE. A list full of visual. The ones I like are X JAPAN, Phantasmagoria, Nega and UnsraW. ELLEGARDEN - Marry Me kirina - 真紅の呂旗-The ONE- (kirina - Shinku no Ryohata-The ONE-) UNLIMITS - 夢物語 (UNLIMITS - Yume Monogatari) 水樹奈々 - Naked Soldier (Nana Mizuki - Naked Soldier) FLiP - カミングアウト (FLiP - Coming Out) ViViD - Winding Road ORANGE CARAMEL - 아빙아빙 (Abing Abing) UPLIFT SPICE - オメガリズム (UPLIFT SPICE - Omega Rhythm) Perfume - Handy Man YUI - feel my soul As with my other lists visual-kei bands are pretty rare. A meh list this time, though UPLIFT SPICE saved it xD.

@relentless I didn't mean to come off as rude and I wasn't replying to anyone in particular. I do agree with you, it's always a good thing to exchange opinions and knowledge, though, as you noted, discussing music genres usually ends badly. This is a topic for reviewing girugamesh's lastest release, a band that has been known to mix more than one genre in their music and attempting to place it in a certain category is futile.
