Maybe they are recorded it locally using the masters sent to them to keep the price low? GAZETTE is major label I believe, in some other countries in Asia, their albums were directly released by Sony Music albeit in limited numbers.

I always get Japanese releases from Amazon JP, unless something are specific for certain stores. I like their shipping being fast and not too expensive either, despite using FedEx/DHL. And they will always refund you the excess if any. I got a couple or three releases from Gan Shin records though, a friend that I used to know got me those as presents, so that's that on that. It is not bad at all actually. Couldn't careless about bonuses much if it was some stickers or some photocards. It doesn't have much value for me except for when I want to sell those CDs away in the future. I am not sure what's so bad about JPU, but I think they can be helpful for some people who doesn't really have budget to ship from Japan all the time for their favourite bands.

I mean, people that bashes VK bands for being visual really contradict themselves, aren’t they? Like, yes, music is important, but their looks are also integral part for fans to swoon over. They won’t bother having new looks on every new cycle (singles) otherwise. Especially since it isn’t at all cheap. You can always deny this the way Kyo hates being called kawaii (allegedly), but you’re still in the scene, either as fans or as member of a band, and such thing are unavoidable. The question why MJBRY got so popular, we are the one who gassed them to this point. In the beginning, when they were new and their music (to some) are still good, lots of people gave them credits, and those got them quickly famous. Everyone wanted to know who they are and become part of the experience. Having good looking members helped them even more also. But as always, as they got older, some people think their music isn’t that good anymore and jumped ship. But they don’t lose much because by this time they already secure large and loyal fanbase. That is important for musicians tbh. They are the one who will always support you no matter what.
