well, i guess don't take that review raw.
As ever, Gaga is a pop artist,
so she may not be sounds as hardcore as NIN was.
perhaps just a little harder than Judas? who knows?
Only few days to find out.
But i am sensing BTW will be rock influenced album though, kinda.
and some other news:
First,
The Edge Of Glory is announced as official 3rd single.
The Fernando Garibay-produced track was originally released as a promotional single
to start the iTunes countdown to Born This Way, due out on May 23rd.
However, the singer decided to make “Edge?? the official third single from the album
after it topped download charts in more than 10 countries
and received rave reviews from critics and fans.
“The Edge of Glory?? will be officially sent to American radio next Tuesday,
a day after the release of the next countdown single,
the RedOne-produced “Hair.??
So wonder if Marry the Night will b3 4th single then?
And so she will have 5 singles altogether than 4 was planned.
We'll see. Her #1 singles has always been Garibay's so far.
(Born This Way and The Edge Of Glory)
Maybe public response are getting higher with her new sounds.
As she mentioned she was getting more new fans from this new direction.
secondly,
Lady Gaga is set to release songs from hew new album on FarmVille.
The singer will let fans listen to tracks from Born This Way,
due in stores on May 23rd, on a section of the online game
before they can be heard anywhere else.
On May 17th, Lady Gaga and Zynga will unveil GagaVille,
a farm within FarmVille, which will showcase Lady Gaga’s themes from the album,
such as crystals, unicorns and motorcycles.
From May 17th to 19th,
players can complete tasks to unlock
and stream a new unreleased song per day.
Lady Gaga said: “I want to celebrate and share Born This Way with my little monsters
in a special way that’s never been done before…
Zynga has created a magical place in FarmVille
where my fans can come play and be the first to listen to the album.??
and then third news are,
All fourteen tracks from the standard edition of Born This Way
will be streamed exclusively on the official website of Metro from Wednesday, May 18th,
five days before the album hits stores worldwide.
The singer will also guest-edit all international editions of the newspaper on May 17th.
In her role as the global editor-in-chief,
Gaga will provide comments on the breaking news of the day
and select stories for Metro’s editions in 20 countries from the paper’s London office.
Guess she is also as excited as we are, to have leaked out everything early,
after trying so hard these past 4-5 months locking up every single details about the album.
Well, i am not gonna complaining though
Some friends of mine prefer to stay away from it though.
Since it is only five days to wait.
What about you?
She is quite original with teaming up with online games, though.
It could be a trend, you think?
edit:
the video from her mentoring on American Idol tonight:
3oer9-WSJHc
The best mentor for this season.
And probably ever on American Idol history.
I am being serious, cos she actually helps each contestant in some way.
Her inputs is gold for every contestants.
Most other mentors just say oh keep in key a bit more or practice or something else too general.
And i am not being bias.
