Royal Order wasn't even that good. In fact, I remember a lot of people bitching about how mediocre it was when it first came out. Half the songs were filler (Miss EVIL INSIDE - really?) and the rest were already released beforehand. Their new EP is way better than that mess IMO.

I like their new stuff more than the old, so I guess I'm one of those people. Their music feels a lot more fun now, and it sets them apart from other bands in their ilk, like Sadie or SCREW or whatever. But I see what you mean.

I don't think they're dying a "slow death." Their latest EP sold-out (according to the new flyer, anyway) and they're about to go on a solo tour.
