^Tokyo Sadistic sounds "punk" to me haha... Or something hardcore-ish. But I doubt they'd take that route :s
-
So the last day on the 13 days Tokyo Sadistic thing is themed "Tokyo Sadistic". Do I spy a new album to be released? It's their time of the year again Go was released in the beginning of February, wasn't it? Or am I just too hopeful?
-
Aha! no seriously. I wouldn't mind if they'd go the route of Pop Rock/Punk bands like ONE OK ROCK. I like them, and for a strange reason I could see Giru do any of the latest singles OOR has released (like RE:MAKE and such). And everything's better than what "Go" was. If they wanted pop rock, they should have stuck with MUSIC. Satoshi has a good voice. I'll see where they're going with this and might give them another shot. And I'm so buying that dvd if it includes those songs. Wth. That first part is enough for me to buy the dvd. REI! They played REI and there is a recording of it!

Satoshi's been hanging around too much with ONE OK ROCK's Taka and fanboy Thomas' Masataka haha.. Tokyo Sadistic huh? Well, let's see what they'll do with that... edit: slightly amused by the shirts. Limp Bizkit striked through. Ryo's Linkin Park. Seems they went back 10 years in time. Linkin Park's logo seems to be that old at least. And I get an "ELLEGARDEN" feeling with that picture. They're going punk rock now?

Is it just me or has the "13" on the homepage slowly made its way to the middle of the page? (That or I'm slightly going insane)

I've seen lots of movies and I have to admit I don't really think they're scary at all. There was one movie though, that had me feeling a little scared and annoyed and that is "The Descent". It was undeniably creepy. And it wasn't an asian one.

there're tonns of bands that sound harder than glaygamesh atm and have better sales and stuff, yet they're trying to go all NEWS-tier pop and stuff. (NEWS aren't as disgusting as GG tho, they didn't start that good.) I'm slightly curious about the announce, but their recent albums were terrible. haha, yeah. I know there are tons of other bands that are heavier and selling more than Giru. But I meant that if they want to go all pop rock, they should do it well and try ONE OK ROCK's way instead of banning all things heavy from their music :s

Head Korean movie about organ trafficking and all... pretty funny in the end Ah, Koreans...
-
^same here haha
-
I never really understood it. They want to get more popular and mainstream. Well, I don't see why they have to tone down their style because of that. At the moment ONE OK ROCK is even harder than Girugamesh, and they're selling way more than them as well :s

Currently reading: Bloody Monday Zombie Loan Spiral Yozakura Quartet Nabari no Ou DOGS Vampire Knight (Put it on hold for the time being though) And because I can't seem to be able to read these things online, I have to wait for the volumes to actually come out. So I'm 2 volumes behind on Nabari now, but have to wait for the other ones. And in the meantime I shouldn't spend my money on the full series of Spiral and Zombie Loan :s

i'd love to hear owari to mirai in a poppy version. That was my first remark as well, and I didn't actually mean it. Seconds later, I was like "what if?" I can't see anything good happen with that though. Unless they keep the 13's Reborn sound, and just rerecord it with decent material?
-
It's such a random number that I really only thought about 13's Reborn myself. (Though it's a personal opinion and thought, I hope they'd just go back to that, or even just Music era music would make me happy) I assume a new album release because it seems too strange for a simple single release :s
-
Not really sure if it's to be put in here or in the rumors section, but Girugamesh's website was revamped and all it shows now is a red page, a big 13 and the date "2011/10/23". Click Here!

Already have a degree in Journalism/TV, decided to get another one in Japanese language and cultures which is my current major. I one day hope to combine the two of them and go to Japan or Korea to enjoy myself interviewing rockbands or work as a MV or Movie director... I got the interview part down already, now I just got to take it to Japan or Korea. Right now I write for a rock ezine (we had our first festival last week) and a Korean entertainment website. Love doing both though I lean more towards rock music than pop. Really, as long as I'd be able to do something that either involves music or movies for the rest of my life, I've found the best job I'd ever be able to get.

^I think they mean all the single songs which is 6 if you count the b-sides. Then 5 new ones, and the extra bonus track "Stranger", to make for the 12 tracks of the regular version.

I got an Ellegarden vid of mine taken down. Couldn't find Salamander anywhere so when I had downloaded it I uploaded it for backup but it was blocked right away :s

I have windows, but that's just because it's the most common one over here, and I'd never trade anything for my Dell XPS I have now. That said, I have a degree in Journalism/TV, meaning that I can perfectly do video editing. While I learned to used Avid on Windows in School, I still prefer Final Cut on Mac from my internship. So if I ever need to get back to video editing (which I probably will) I'll be buying myself a Mac because Avid is a bitch and final cut is heaven. Besides that, I can work on both systems, and there's not really one I prefer. (+ not that I care about it that much, but most apple/mac users over here are elitists, saying that mac is better than everything and it never crashes and all... I worked with mac for 2 months and it did crash on me. So spare me the elitist-talks)

RMP Festival today!

Loved them years ago. Still need to check out their newest...
-
Their indie scene is huge... their nu-metal groups, however, are awesome haha... Love them the most as well... And I'm trying to find even more but it's hard to get further into the scene if you're not actually living in Korea, or can't understand the language on their websites :s
-
^me neither. I don't like his voice. I don't like any collab he's done over the years :s there are a lot better rappers out there.

My favorite album is Pieces, Part One. I hope there'll be a part two one day haha...
