I believe they haven't been released yet. It was only revealed in volume 13 of the original series that it was the novel's last volume. The writer revealed afterwards that the name would change to "Durarara!! SH" for a second arc. That's why I'm saying it wouldn't be weird for them to change the anime to the setting of the second arc. They are catering to the Japanese fans anyway and I'm sure a lot of the DRRR fans in Japan have read the novels. The second arc starts two years after Volume 13. Making the lead characters about 17/18.

My sources are the original post from it back when they revealed it (let me find them again), but for all we know this is wrong anyway. I'll see if I can find a Japanese source. Also, I think it would be reasonable to see them use this as a link between the first novel arc and the upcoming one, so the "6 months after the first season/novel" isn't all too weird. The release of a new arc and anime must be linked somewhere at least. The new arc does start 2 years after the end of the first arc of novels and has people who fought along each other fighting against each other now. Just checking the English news pages of it already got me "The second season will be adapting the second arc of the novel series written by Ryohgo Narita" and "The story takes place a half year after the first series at Tokyo's Ikebukuro neighborhood, but the broadcast date has not been announced." so really... I guess unless I can find a Japanese source, no one's sure about what it exactly is.

The studio doing it now was actually specifically created for DRRR. They also won't be adapting any of the current novels. It's either a standalone one 6 months after the novels end, or one 2 years after that (which is when the new novel arc starts). I've seen both as possibilities. Not sure which one is right, but I'm at least glad a second season is finally there. Can't wait.

I heard everyone was hoping for one but the actual announcement was just a Japanese live action/real life game. I haven't heard a thing about a new Death Note yet. Oh well, if it does happen I'll most likely watch it, unless it's just a tweak then I won't waste my time.

I'M SO EXCITED FOR DURARARA!! Also, Death Note Remake what? An anime that doesn't really need a remake is getting a remake?

I have a strange "relationship" with Unicorn. While I really liked the idea of a new Gundam series after really liking 00, Unicorn wasn't really my favorite at the start. I got into it somehow though, and I do like it, but I guess the whole OVA thing just pulls and pushes me back in and out the whole time. I can't decide whether I really like it or I just keep on watching it because I started it years ago. Also, someone remind me how I ended up watching Monochrome Factor because I'm totally not into Shounen Ai and I didn't check the tags beforehand. That's what you get when you download series based on the VA cast.

Reissue of a manga series which started nearly 20 years ago. The art is so pretty ._.

Bought FF Type 0 after all these years. If I don't come back it means I jumped out of the window out of frustration of not being able to understand all the Japanese.

Having been born in the middle of Europe makes me kind of lucky I guess. It takes me a few hours to get to either The Netherlands, Germany, France, or the UK, so I guess it's a given I've been in all four countries. Apart from that I've also been able to go on two exchanges through secondary school (Which cost more than it should have but oh well...) One to Denmark, and one to Slovakia. I'd love to go back to Denmark but I doubt I'd ever go back to Slovakia. It was an interesting place though. Opposite of Denmark almost. I've also been in Los Angeles for a few days on a trip through a website I write for, and had a 10 hour layover in New York because someone didn't check my flight's hours. I spent those walking around the city then. I think I take NY over LA but I should go and have a decent trip to go and actually find out for sure. I am now in Seoul, and that's been my first deliberate choice of staying abroad for a long time. I needed to get out of my country and away from people for a bit. If I can earn enough while I'm here, I'll probably head to Japan after (I'd love to hear of people who've already been there and/or have found a job there. I'm very interested in working in Japan if I could, but I have no idea how to take on the challenge and where to start). If I can do it, I doubt I'll ever really move back to Belgium, but we'll see what happens. Seoul is interesting though, to say the least. Teaching English without actually being a native speaker is not officially allowed, so if you don't live in a native English country or hold a degree in English language, don't bother trying to go and get a job in Korea. I have a degree and pretty much fluent English but I'm getting nowhere. It's frustrating.

I want to slap that girl tbh. And yeah, I heard it was based off of a novel/manga, and I'd been interested before too. But right now I'm glad it's just 3min. I assume the original plot is interesting though, considering the whole idea of the siblings. Also, the boy being called Utsutsu (reality) and the girl being called Yume (dream), I want to know the full reasoning behind that.
-
I've been watching Pupa too. The fact both of them come out on the same day, I usually watch them in one go for a good laugh. At least Pupa is just 3min long each time. For Mahou Sensou. What's up with Ida? Why is Takeshi all over Isoshima while he basically doesn't care anyway? Did they suddenly all forget about Gekkou? No one is even questioning why he's at the rival side? What's that mom suddenly caring for one of her sons she never even cared about? Biggest clusterfuck of an anime ever made. Only keeping up with it because it's almost over anyway. (I also don't understand how they managed to get a hold of Suzumura Kenichi and Miyano Mamoru for that)

Randomly decided to watch an old OVA called I'll/CKBC last night. The OVA for a manga series called I'll. It's a basketball series (someone get me out of this sports manga/anime misery). It wasn't bad but it did get me to read the manga and I'm enjoying myself reading it. Weekly "wtf is Mahou Sensou" comment because this week's episode was another one that made me go "where is your consistency?" "where is your plot?" as they have suddenly seemed to have forgotten everything about the mom being a bitch and the brother being ridiculous. Added RDG: Red Data Girl to the list because I felt like watching a random series one night and nothing I had could satisfy me. Three episodes in and the only thing I can think of is that I could listen to the lead boy's voice for hours. I've had it with a few other characters the voice actor has done before and I don't really understand why because he seems so disinterested in everything he does or says. Also a typical brat. Not that much into the story yet but there's more episodes to watch anyway.

Started Nazo no Tenkosei when it began airing in January and I don't have any regrets. It's so different from what I expected it to be but it's really interesting. The only negative point is that subs are weeks behind and my Japanese isn't good enough to be able to even try and understand what they're talking about and messing around with now. (in short: kid comes from a parallel world to investigate our world and starts gathering his own group/army of people)

Started Psycho Pass, Break Blade, and Eureka Seven AO. (And yes, I'm still watching all those other series too. I need to stop.) Only remembered when I watched the first episode of Psycho Pass that I'd already watched it when it aired. For some reason I never kept on following it but well, at least I'm here now. Break Blade was to fill my need for a mecha thing, after which I remembered that I still had Eureka Seven's second season to watch. Halfway through but reading that it starts messing with timelines had me lose my need to watch it a bit. Noragami is still great. Hamatora is still great. Still loving Kurobasu. Diamond no Ace is a nice in-betweener. Buddy Complex is getting really amusing to watch (I'm starting to love the Dio/Aoba combo for some reason). Mahou Sensou is still a clusterfuck.

Kingdom Hearts got me to listen to Japanese music, so it grew from there on out I guess. Should be about 11 years ago now?

Considering the tracklist and what I remember from seeing them live I'd say that it's their best (or most wanted) live tracks in one album. Songs like Patchwork, Shadan, Evolution,... they're always very much liked and loved at live shows. Also, that Ryo thing sounds like it could be Ryo to me though. Doesn't he have a more boyish tone to his voice at times anyway? Lots of younger guys doing such music sound like that tbh. I know he's older than I am but I wouldn't be surprised if it's him after all.
-
Fairly sure most of them have been updated and new vocals were recorded where needed. All I know is that this sounds awesome and that I kind of need it.
-
I'm fairly sure I'll finish at least the first season, and I'm sure I'll come to like him more than I do now because he is indeed a very interesting character. I've always been confused over him though. I'm usually the type of person to like the smart, know-it-all characters with an attitude but I really have no idea what it exactly is that bothered me so much about him. I should finish it and maybe try and figure out what it was/is.

Lelouch annoys the hell out of me. I tried but I think that's the reason why I couldn't get myself to finish the first season. He's just too much (and I'm one who finishes just about any series I've started). I'll probably finish it in the end but I really need to be in the mood. And yeah, I've noticed that they don't even have people who want to sub it :/ Ah, I'm used to waiting.

Noragami is supposed to be getting more interesting now. I've read the manga too and there have been quite some interesting things happening. Just finished the 1st and 2nd installment in that Code Geass spinoff thing about Akito the Exiled. I never finished Code Geass and I'm fairly sure it's because I can't make any sense out of Lelouch as a character. I like the kid in this one a lot more, even though his story is fairly typical. The mecha in these movies are great though. Well, the battle scenes are some of the best I've seen in years. Animation and the mechas' movement is very smooth. Love it. Can't wait for the third one to be released.

They are actually real brothers? I'm just... Never thought about that before... Яyo even clarified "by blood"

It's definitely there. I've seen a few serious things myself but they're usually just slice-of-life rather than the dark stuff. Can't come up with anything right now but you should be able to find it. If I think of anything I'll drop it here.

This season is killing me. Ended up watching an episode of Diamond no Ace and decided to watch it as well. Nothing really special so far, but it's a fun show. Buddy Complex got a lot better the more episode I've watched. I'm slightly amused with Nobunagun too. Not really feeling Nobunaga the Fool, but I guess I'm not annoyed enough to quit watching as a whole. I have yet to watch the latest two episodes and as Saku just mentioned something interesting, I'll probably watch them soon. Can't say the same for Magical Warfare. If this would have been a 13+ episodes anime, this would be the moment where I'd dropped it. They aren't going anywhere and aren't making any sense. Wonder if they spent all of their cash on Mamoru and Suzuken for voice acting instead of someone to write a decent script. Still loving Kurobasu, Hamatora and Noragami. Definitely my favorites this season. I read a little ahead in the manga and Noragami is getting really interesting. Characters develop well. I think I'm actually going to be sad the anime's only 13 episodes. With this much of a background story and development, they could have gone for 24 instead. Watching Kamisama no Memochou in-between others. Seems like a fun series.

Still watching all the same ones that are airing but added Kuroko no Basket and Pupa. While I have no idea what's going on in Pupa (well, I do, but it's so random?!), I've started to love Kurobasu. I think there's just too many characters that are easy to love. Watched the first season in two days, and then pretty much immediately caught up with the currently airing season. New episode came out today so I still have to watch that one. Oh yeah, Hamatora and Norigami are definitely my favorites this season. Magical Warfare is a mess and I have no idea where it's trying to go or what it's trying to prove. Buddy Complex is pretty ok but nothing special.

Changed mine a while back to an older one I still had. Over here~
