*Thread Revival* been playing Saints Row IV all week, It's so fucking fun... I just don't see GTA5 ever even coming close to being this much fun, It's just not there it seems. but yeah other stuff that has been keeping me preoccupied is the long awaited release of Tales of Xillia which I've clocked over thirty hours in so far and Dragon's Crown which is something akin to Crack and quite possibly the most addicting game that has came out all year for me.

Good choice. I recommend watching the anime but I understand if that's not an option since it is quite an undertaking to watch a 600 episode series all the way from the beginning, but if you can definitely try. I love the manga to death but what really made me fall in love with one piece was seeing it come to life through animation. It's quite a different experience from reading it I'm still reading the big three... naruto, bleach, and one piece, but lately I've been thinking of reading other stuff like fairy tale since the anime ended.. I just don't know where to start though, If anyone has any good manga recommendations please send them my way, I really have no idea what's worth reading now a days....

Elysium all I can say is it's really good and has a satisfying ending, can't really say if it matches up to district 9 or not but it's pretty close

Well Iv'e only listened to it once so far, But I can tell you I don't hate any of the songs, so that's good I suppose. I really didn't notice the crappy mixing / production everyone is going on about, but that could change with time. I need to listen more and then I can properly evaluate this ep, but so far my impressions are pretty good

What I've been watching recently on a week to week basis: Blood Lad Danganronpa (Sucks so much, I hate how fast paced it is, makes me cringe when they don't explain shit.. thought about dropping this one) Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya Free! (aka my guilty pleasure right now xD) Gatchaman Crowds (my surprise pick from this season) Genshiken Nidaime (well it's certainly different than the other two seasons) Gifuu Doudou!! Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince (still don't know what to think of this show..) Hunter x Hunter (2011) (I mean do i need to say anything?) Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyou (for the laughs i suppose) Kamisama no inai Nichiyoubi Kingdom 2 Naruto Shippuuden (Gawd I'm counting down the weeks till the manga ends, I'm so sick of watching this show... but I just can't quit till it's over, I've come too far for that shit) One Piece (quite the opposite of the above anime, I hope this one never ends..) Shingeki no Kyojin Toriko (this one is quickly turning into an all time favorite for me) Toaru Kagaku no Railgun S (Love it just like all the other raildex series, but seriously though I want index season 3 so bad!!) Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dou Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui! (Hilarious this one is.) I'm also rewatching all of Hajime no Ippo with a friend who has never seen it before... preparing him for the new season that starts next month Seriously though I'm getting hella sentimental and nostalgic when we watch it, A true classic I think

Sucks I suppose. Haven't really been following them lately but they're definitely one of the few VK bands I'm still into, so I guess I need to go and download everything I missed to get hype for the last album... If anyone would be so kind as to post a list of their releases from the past year I would be really grateful. I could find out myself but I'm lazy so... xD ~thanks

yeah that show is amazing, still hoping on a fifth season sometime.. maybe this fall? but yeah been watching the new FATE series and other stuff like: - Blood Lad - Danganranpan - Dog x Sissors - Watamote! Will probably pick up a few more series from this season, still gonna wait a few more weeks so I have a good gump of episodes to watch from the series I still haven't tried yet XD

Bought "Project X Zone" last week and just pre-ordered "Shin Megami Tensei IV" and the "Metal Gear Solid Legacy collection" today

I'm actually playing quite a bit of stuff right now, so much that it feels like I get overwhelmed at times. but here's the stuff I'm playing right now with the goal of completing this summer. PS3 The Last of Us (hands down the best game from this console generation and as of this moment it is game of the year for me. It's a perfect meld of tear jerking story telling and very satisfying game play all in the same package.) PSP Black Rock Shooter (Really glad this finally got released here, was waiting for it to happen for quite some time. It's also pretty good to have something new to play on my psp.) PS VITA Soul Sacrifice (great game, lots of monster grinding. It's almost like monster hunter in some regards, and it feels and plays amazing on the vita. It also has pretty solid graphics and overall is a pretty fun experience.) 3DS Shin Megami Tensei : Devil Summoners Soul Hackers (believe it or not this game has actually aged quite well and feels really good on the 3DS not to mention it's just nice as a fan of the SMT series to finally have one of the only titles that never got brought overseas, and for that I can deal with the English dubs lol... really though I don't think their that bad actually pretty tolerable me thinks.) PROJECT X ZONE (This game is just a very addicting grid based SRPG with quite possibly the biggest Japanese video game universe mash up that anyone has ever seen, combining characters from the Capcom, Sega, & Namco Bandai universes, this game is sweet. If you like the grind and copious amounts of crossover fan service then this game is a must buy. I got this game Tuesday and I literally can't put it down.) Fire Emblem: Awakening (Still playing this, it's really good and I've found out that it has an amazing amount of replayability.) PC Borderlands 2 (Messing around with a new character, a Siren! getting her ready for the new dlc that just came out. btw this game looks really impressive on pc with max setting and High phys-x no comparison to the console version) Dishonored (Meant to play this game when it came out but other stuff took priority so it got put onto my backlog but now I've finally started playing and I gotta say it's pretty good, love the stealth combat and the story is very solid as is expected with Arcane Studios.) Saints Row The Third (Playing through this before the fourth one comes out in August, It's GTA on crack.. not to much more to say about it XD) Final Fantasy XII International Zodiac Job System [Emulated] (been working on a play through of this version for the past few months whenever i have some time, Emulated using PCSX2 runs flawlessly 60 fps. Playing this mostly because I've never played this version and it just feels really good to go back to probably my favorite FF game from the 00's ) As you can see I'm very busy video game wise, and trust me it's hell considering I also have to find time to juggle a handful or more anime series every season too T.T I really do need to sit down and finish some of these soon or I'm gonna be fucked whenever all the other really good stuff starts coming out in the second half of the year. like fuck SMT IV comes out in two weeks but I'm still playing soul hackers and project x zone... it's a hard life trying to keep up with shit without making sacrifices.

Pretty accurate descriptions, totally one hundred percent agree with your opinions of these shows especially Devil Survivor, it's just not working as an anime... and yeah Maou-sama was quite a pleasant surprise this season, really funny.

I actually feel like this is gonna be a really good season. Returning series I'm looking forward to: Kingdom 2 (obviously) Fate/Kaleid liner Prisma lllya (I love the fate series so this is a no brainer) Genshiken Nidaime (This was actually a surprise, Never thought they would do a second season but I'm sure glad they did.. I love this type of slice of life ) The World God Only Knows: Goddess Arc (Been waiting for this third season. It was expected, no surprise here) and then new series I think will be promising and I am planning to watch as of this moment: Gifuu Doudou!! Kanetsugu to keiji (What can I say? I love historical anime, it's one of my favorite genres and it's really fun to watch. Gonna definitely give this a watch.) Danganronpa (Don't know to much about this anime, but it looks legit and the synopsis sounds pretty interesting , so it's on the to watch list) Kamisama no Inai Nichiyoubi (same as above) Blood Lad (Getting a very strong Durarara!! feeling on this one, at least animation and art style wise, And that's to be expected since this is being made by the same studio that did Durarara!!) Watamote! (this is kinda the shameful pick of the bunch, I've read a few chapters of the manga and a lot of people have told me it's really quite good, so I'm gonna just jump right in on the anime.. Obviously though this isn't gonna be for everyone)

^ Trust me on this one, the hype is well deserved. There is nothing overhyped about it at all, all the reactions and praise people are giving are 100% totally deserved. Also IMO if you decide to wait I think you will regret it, for two reasons; One: when you finally do watch it your going to be beating yourself up for not checking it out sooner, and two: from my experiences watching it for the past twelve weeks I've come to the conclusion that part of what makes this anime so good is the week to week wait between episodes, while some anime series suffer from the week to week wait "Shingeki" actually benefits quite a bit from it. I don't know if its just because they took into consideration the week long wait between episodes whenever they were making it or what, but it works in it's favor.. I can't even begin to describe the feeling of watching an action packed episode that ends with an absurd (a good kind of absurd ) climax and cliffhanger then have to wait an entire week to watch the next, it's almost like it just supercharges the entire experience with excitement and suspense at least for me that is. Now don't get me wrong this anime will be amazing to watch even if you decide to wait till it's over and then watch all at once, but If can convince even one person to go ahead and dive in and catch up to where it is right now and then follow it week to week till its over then I believe they will overall enjoy and appreciate this anime so much more. /rant On a side note, second season of Kingdom just began, and I couldn't be more happy about it, as it was my overall most enjoyed new series from last year!

I can not stress this enough, Everyone should go watch "Shingeki no Kyojin" right this second, You will not regret it.

Are you sure? can I get a source? because that just really doesn't sound like square to me... I mean i can see them doing final fantasy on xbox since all of the FF XIII games have been on 360 (wasn't versus XIII originally supposed to be PS3 exclusive too?) but i just don't know how i feel about KH being on xbone doesn't seem to fit, you'd think Sony would try to lock it down as an exclusive for sure.

At this point I've just accepted that Nintendo is not a 3rd party power house and I'm okay with that, because their first party games are so strong they don't really need 3rd party games to drive sells, trust me people have bought the Wii U and they will buy it in the future if they want to play all the First party Exclusives that will coming out over the next year, games like The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD, New Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart 8, Super Mario 3D Land, and the new Donkey Kong Country Game. These games will sell consoles for them because all those games look amazing and the only place you can play them will be Wii U, Hell I'll be getting a Wii U just to play the new Mario Kart alone not to mention all the other great first party games that will be coming, and it's not like they don't have some 3rd party stuff coming, I don't know about you guys but Bayonetta 2 looks fucking amazing and it's gonna be a Wii U Exclusive and also the Re-release of Deus Ex: Human Revolution Directors Cut has seriously got me excited, for once a developer has listened to the fans and fixed the shit that was wrong with their game added a bunch of new shit, that actually does warrant a re-release and yes it is coming to other platforms but I'm confident when I say that it looks the best and plays the best on Wii U from what I've seen.

idk i'm definitely getting PS4, besides the way I like how their handeling marketing and fan relations, I also feel like they have the better games and exclusives, their is not one exclusive game microsoft showed off that makes me want to buy an Xbone except for maybe Titanfall, but I can just get that on PC so yeah...

oh also there is a whole bunch of other issues with their marketing but I'm not gonna get into it, the fact of the matter is alot of fans are feeling alienated and are seriously considering jumping ship to sony, and I feel that microsoft is not gonna do anything about it because they're are just to prideful and cocky with that they think they know what's best for their consumers to change or take back some of their marketing plans.. sorry for the double post had to get that off my chest.

for one i wasn't trying to come off as hostile towards sai, I'm just stating what I know and what I've heard, either way at the end of the day microsoft is not allowing used games and sony is bottom line. and the price thing i admittedly overlooked but, still does not change the fact that microsoft is packaging their console with a piece of hardware that the consensus of the fanbase have no interest in and charging an extra 100 bucks because of it. and btw this is just my opinion.

that was Microsoft that said that, not Sony, Sony is in full support of used games and I doubt many publishers would go that route anyway right now because of all the hostility from hardcore gamers towards DRM. but anyways came to drop by and say PS4 is winning this console generation, I'm 99% sure of this, the on only way Microsoft can turn this around is if they do a full 180 with the way there addressing the consumers, which means stop telling us what we need and let us decide on ourselves, one of the biggest reasons why Sony is getting such successful feedback right now is because of their new attitude towards their fans, instead of telling us what we need their laying out all their cards on the table and keeping well informed on what this new system and games is capable of and then letting us decide for ourselves. instead Microsoft is trying force this fucking Kinect sensor that they feel that we need on their next gen console down our fucking throats when instead to realistic that's the only reason their console is a hundred dollars more than the competitor, and on the subject of money, Microsoft is literally fucking the international fans with this 500 Euro bullshit, which isn't anything new they've always fucked their European market over on prices. Really the way they come off as is fuck you this a American console and anybody who is not from America has to pony up the extra bones if they want to use our hardware. That's fucked up.

I feel like this should of came out sometime this generation instead... but whatever in terms of excitement and hype, I'm way more looking forward to FF XV but whatever I'll play KH either way and yes I'll love it and enjoy it but I can't help to think that I would of enjoyed it immensely more if it would of came out a few years ago instead. I don't know whatever . /blegh
