Wow, 10 years =O Haven't been here in ages but on this boring saturday night decided to take a look here again xD it feels like only a few years ago i joined TW after a spamrage on I believe Tonberry back in the days xD, and than all those countless of hours I spend here on the TW/MH forums, the chat, the last.fm boards, everywhere. I have so much fond memories here, and met such awesome people on this forum. Also loved the years I was a member of the team on here. And I still remember some events like if they happened last week, some bad to some awesome =) But then again, I came in contact with Japanese music back in 2002 or something, so as that is already 15 years ago, i really don't know what I done the first 5 years... I mentioned Tonberry, I guess Jpopsuki, but it's so long ago by now xD must've been some other boards. But none were like these =).

I personally like the Jupiter, Uchuu Conbini and Boris ones, the latter 2 really have a nice dreamy atmosphere while the Jupiter one has a really nice colourscheme/overall feeling

Most of the times the singers also don't use microphones... So, when you want to go for authenticity, they also have to use a mic... as indicated before, a PV is just for promotional reasons. All they do is act they are playing the song. The actual song is played in the background and the members are just mimicking. And whitegrey mentions the most obvious reasons, cost-efficiency and to prevent annoying errors/lighting/refelctions/other screw ups For example, take the BYEE THE ROUND's one take no cut PV's (yeah, no VK though) First off, both are really awesome PV's. But you notice some things during these PV's. Cables get hooked behind the guitarheads, at some point you see the bass-player nearly falling over some cables, you even see the filmcrew in some instances... If you want to go for clean cut PV's, like most of those VK PV's tend to be, get rid of all likely obstacles. So stationary camera's, no hanging wires, et cetera. VK is for 90% based on visuals so yeah, if you screw that up, you have barely anything left xD And yes, in above PV's of BYEE THE ROUND, the band is mimicking the songs, the only unique thing they are one take no cut-PV's. But to keep the 'we are playing it for real'-vibe, everything is hooked in, and they are actually playing the songs. But for accoustic reasons, the real audio is cut and replaced by studioversions.

90's primarily I guess. most vivid memories of songs, though ofcourse the 80's, 00's en 10's also come high, but I was a teenager in the 90's and at that time I mostly discovered the kind of music I like... And ofcourse the 90's is the time of happy hardcore xD

you should. It gives a lot more background story and insight on the caharacters. Besides the soryline of the series is different enough to get hooked on both ends =)

oh sweet, Kinoko Teikoku. Liked their debut mini from last year more than this album though, as it had more impact on me. Still one of the bands that had such an awesome impact on me when I saw them when they opened for the cabs back in 2012. Especially how those two girls were on stage compared to the two guys =), and yeah, I still got my ava+sig set featured on them =)

As for the parenting thing, I see, and completely understand where you're coming from. That's why it kinda struck my by surprise saturday, and well, I'm a guy xD. I never really thought about being a father myself right now, but I guess I'm also not opposed to the idea. Haven't met her daughter yet, and I guess it's smart that I haven't yet. It's better to get some solid connection before getting to know her kid, otherwise she might get harmed one way or another. The real father seems to be a real douchebag of what I heard of her. Not wanting to spend time at all with his daughter, and even when he's agreed on it, cancelling a little while before hand. As for the first girl. Can't really get intoo contact with her. I know it's only 2 days, but I know she's seen my messages (on Friday night after the cancellation if everything was alright, and last night, basically asking the same thing...) Guess I'm now just waiting for her to reply. Don't want to look like a desperate guy, but it's nice to know what she wants... blegh, relations xD I also always had that in mind, but last saturday, it kinda just happened... Really did not plan on it happening and before I even realized it, we we're on our way doing it... Interests of course are king. But there's a side of me, that kinda tells me that I really have to start looking for someone. From all of my friends, I'm the only single, and except 1, they're all married and have kids or kids are on their way... I'd personally rather 'try' it out with someone, and maybe we can share common interests on the long run, and see if it get's anywhere, than be forever alone, hoping to see my ideal match to knock on my door... Ah well, we will see =)

Well yeah, that was also my feeling about the first one. First two was because she had no time those evenings (1st one something came up, 2nd one she had to work early the day after). Last Friday she said she had a sudden money problems due to a sudden dentist appointment and several bills... I said that I could pay for that evening, but she still said no... Really don't know where that's going.... Guess I have to confront her with the question to get clarity... As for the kids-problem with #2 (oh wow, I kinda hate the talking about women as if they're numbers xD)... I really don't know actually xD. I'm 29 myself, she's 26, and her daughter is 5. It's a plus that it's not a baby/toddler or anything, cause I don't know how I would handle that kinda stuff all of a sudden. I'm not opposed to get in a relationship in where there are children, but then again, I never had experience with something like that =) bwaah, so, then you get in no relationships at all for YEARS, and then there's this kind of shit xD

yeah, I all know what you mean, and it's also the one I want to continue with, but I get the feeling she's not so intoo meeting up with me for some reason. We already agreed 3 times to meet up somewhere, but everytime she cancelled the dates. Last Friday even 30 minutes before meeting up, so, I was already on my way to the meeting point... So I don't really know how long I intend to 'wait' for someone, while I have another one that's 'ready to go', if you know what I mean. I'm not one to go two-timing on a girl (well, I kinda do now I guess?)... Don't know if I have to ask it bluntly to girl #1 if she ever intends to actually go on a date with me, or if I should sit it out for another week of 2/3... I mean, if I hadn't had the other girl, there was no doubt and I could wait. But this kind of situation is a first for me... Just talked with girl #2 again, and she wants to meet up again thursday, while I haven't gotten a response from girl #1 yet since yesterday on just a normal question (not one about a date or anything like that)...

Sooo, yeah, back in this thread =) Been single for quite some months now (last relationship ended late march), but now I'm in some kind of a dilemma. I'm quite honest always, and in some sort of scenarios, that's kind of a downside for me. Right now, I've been online talking to a girl I met through some datingsite, and everything connects. We got similar interests etc, but the multiple dates we agreed to go on, were all last minute (well, last-day) declined by her. 3 occasions so far. (and yeah, she is real afaik, facebook shows her real enough and a friend of a friend of a friend has befriended her years ago on facebook, so I guess that's makes her legit =) So, the problem starts here. A week ago, I got mailed by a girl from another datingsite, and tonight I had my second date with her. Really great success, however, we share 0,0 common interests... She loves hardstyle, I love rock/pop. She loves disco's, I rather go to small bars/live shows. She loves typical beach vacations, I love sightseeing etc, and those are just the common interests. How much we talk, there seems to be no connection between the two of us. However, the talking as of now is great, as is the sex (sex on 2nd date, yeah baby yeah), but now I'm concerned on the long run. The first girl seems like the perfect match, but the constant postponing of dates, makes it seem it's getting nowhere, though I think if there's going to be an actual date, we might hit it off bigtime The second girl seems like a total mismatch. The only common thing I've noticed so far is that she has a child and is raising it on her own without the father, and I come from an one-parent family, without ever knowing my father... , well, that and the sex was good =) since I've never been in this kind of situation (honestly, I'm glad if one girl showed interest in me, and now all of a sudden there're two.) I kinda want your opinion on this kind of matter. Should I stick with the postponing one, or with the mismatch one? On the long run the first seems better, but what if that goes nowhere, I'm better of with taking a chance of the latter one. So, short list of the girls 1: Cancels dates last minute, haven't met her irl, living 1hr+ away from me 2: No common interests at all, been on two dates within 6 days of knowing her, lives 15mins away, single mom My mind says stick with the first one, you never know what it turns out to be. It might be your other half... My feeling says go with the second one. Take the risk and see where it ends, you never know if the first one ever gonna succeeds...

hmmz, don't know how, but I've heard of Encounters with a Yeti before xD Don't have time to actually listen to these, but as you list them as dreamy pop, chillwave, pop with soul etc. Gonna check them out when I get back in a few hours =)

nice =). For so far I can remember what I've listened this year, her album has left the most memorable impression for me =). Some other might be on par or even better music-wise, but 空中ランドリー has been one of the most listened to albums for me =)

Well, actually didn't know a picture of her was shared widely to be honest, so that's why it caught me off-guard xD Should relisten that album I guess, as I remember liking it, but actually it didn't stick in my mind =) Still hoping for a surprise from you guys and see eri-nyo somewhere on that list =) (but it won't =()

yep, definitely... S3 finaly was a major letdown... All that happened now in these episodes could've been done in a few eps less, and then end with such a finale would have been WAY better..
