Virge are kind of inspired by Phantasmagoria (not as much as Meidina were), but since everyone in that band were at one point signed to a secret -AINS- sub-label and currently are not, I think that they want nothing to do with Yukika.

welp, they put out a ton of songs, so at least there’s that. Bummed that first wave homage-kei is now officially dead.

They seemed like they were one of Starwave's better acts. At least they are putting out a full album before stopping: 2 full-lengths and a couple of mini's / single b-sides is a pretty big repertoire for a vkei band.

Never said they sucked, just that they looked cheap (and in both videos, my statement still stands). Musically this was okay. Kind of non-descript metal-core with orchestra synth to fill in the gaps in the melodies (more so on Neth's part due to only having 1 guitarist). I am more surprised that they didn't try to make distinct sounding debut singles. Both title tracks are practically interchangeable.

Apparently vkei really likes Coal Chamber Inspired: I'm sure there are others, since it's kind of the go-to h~e~a~v~y riff vkei uses. More will be added as I find them.

Did their one-coin single actually get released? I tried to google around for the album art, but it looks like it's not even on auction sites nor in fan brag-tweets

I'm not sure if this is a case of taking inspiration vs. "this is just what a generic nu-metal riff sounds like," but this opening riff by BORN sounds like the main riff by Girugamesh in "Volcano," but all jAzZed uP.
