Lol not surprising! I actually thought "maybe he knows Tiago too" since, you know, Brazil. Also because of his blog, I guess. I'm in tumblr as "yoreru", but I kinda stopped using it... I wanna go back to using it again someday. :x But I'm happy to find one more Yoh Shibusawa fan from Brazil! We are now 4. YAY.

I love that sooonnngg!! My friend translated it into english if you're interested! She sang it live in Shibuya last week too! I was so happy I could watch the stream in real time... My feels, they were all over the place ç_ç I recently found this and it's strangely addicting: Awesome video too.

when will they fix last.fm? scrobbling doesn't work from the PC app now. Also, it shouldn't be so difficult to find the link for downloading the app from their website! I had to google it -__-

THAT'S BULLYING I'M OUTTA HERE ... Well, I do. I do need Kinoko Teikoku. ç_ç (I thought the same while reading it, @Original SakuxD) But that's very nice!! It really is soft. <3 I'm in the mood for that kind of stuff right now, so I wonder if I can easily find something by them. Reminds me of something I've been listening to a lot recently, have you guys heard of the "shikisai compilation"? It's a series of compilations by Kusanone label, and while most are japanese indie bands/artists', I've seen western faces there before. All of those compilations are digitally released for free and you can also listen to it online through their bandcamp. Or you can buy it there too, of course. : D Anyway, volume 5 was released last month and it sounds lovely. So much potential... you can find infomation on the bands/artists there too as well as links to the previous compilations on the page's bottom. You can find it here: http://kusanone-label.net/shikisaicompilation5/ -- Edit -- From their bandcamp page: “shikisai compilation” is an album to introduce the artist/creator who creates a music that fused acoustic sound and modern electronics sound. Introduces the music of the various approaches has been exceeded can be found through the Internet, a regional genre.

I just want a good quality version that is NOT a transcode... I'll try the one on the discography post.

I wonder if the problem is your mega bandwidth or mine

    2. Hakoniwa

      Hakoniwa

      @leafwork It's probably mine, I guess... but it's not exceeded anyway. It's just, this was a known megaupload bug, so I'm  wondering if it's the same as before, it would make sense ^^;

I'll keep trying now and then, I do want a high quality mp3 version, but having FLAC wouldn't hurt haha. I'm very thankful anyway, so thank you SO MUCH.

I didn't know them at all... nice! Looking forward to it. Is their first album around here? I'll do a quick search...

  16. I just read the info about this video... Wow, this is crazy, she was walking from before dawn until early morning, for 60 minutes (!!) while singing about love. Apparently, that was filmed yesterday (7/9) and the video on youtube has been cut, but the full, 60 minutes version was streamed on USTREAM. 60 minutes...
  17. Hakoniwa

AHHHH É ESSE MESMO!! Valeu!

I'm right there with you guys too ;_; I'm all for converting people lol Most bands I used to like are disbanding too... It's just how I said in my introduction post. But I've been finding more and more bands that interest me, so it helps. I started looking for more music when I noticed most of the artists I like were nowhere to be seen, and I managed to find some good ones. Plus I like finding new music. About VK... yea, I'm in the same boat, it's hard, but j-indie isn't really different tbh. It's also sad how many people leave their bands because they have to work, because they can't live through music... So I'm trying to look around the forums to see if any of the "new" VK bands interest me, maybe doing so will help you too. I still haven't found any, but I probably should look harder. XD YouTube also helps a lot. And Twitter.

What time do you start? I'm interested but I don't really know how it works, so I'd like to watch : 3
  22. I'm pretty sure the first line on this Cocco's song was written after me...

"I'm so sleepy, day and night"

Clearly me. I think about this line all the time. All the time. All the...damn, I'm so sleepy...

  23. Hakoniwa

I just started this book the day before yesterday and since then every night is a fight between the need to sleep and my unwillingness to put it down... It's just too hard. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. It's my first time reading something by this author, so I didn't know what to expect... but it's surprisingly pleasant to read! I usually read fantasy and sci-fi, so this is a change of pace. It flows so easily that I'll probably finish reading it tonight. Even though it's not a fantasy book, the main character loves fantasy books and writes fanfics about it... lol. The whole world surround her was really familiar since I'm a huge Harry Potter fan and the (fictional) fantasy book series she loves the most is clearly based on Harry Potter series. Awesome read, highly recommended.
  24. Any Yoh Shibusawa fans around? She'll be live on twitcast this saturday! And, according to her, it'll be rock this time. I can't wait! <3

    1. Hakoniwa

      Hakoniwa

Yay! I wonder if you recognized her on my avatar? She was so young here lol

Yeah, she's mentioned it a few times, so I'm looking forward to it! Twitcast is a live streaming service in which you can watch things live, something like USTREAM. But, actually, I think they'll probably stream it on USTREAM too and the quality is a lot better there. There's this ongoing (anti-government) event on Shibuya, she was there last saturday and the one before it, giving support to Miyake Youhei (also a musician). You probably saw all that from her twitter though... @CAT5

      @CAT5

      First saturday (his song):

      Second saturday:

They're usually streaming through these links:

      http://twitcasting.tv/yamamototaro0/

      http://www.ustream.tv/channel/j6E3xAEDqFq

She'll be there next saturday (7/9), probably around 6pm (Japan time) again, with her band. So be sure to check it! ^^

...Sorry if this was too much info all at once, I'm always like this >_>

    3. CAT5

      CAT5

I had no idea that was her in your avatar! I saw the pics of her with Miyake on twitter, but haven't seen the videos, so thanks for that! :D

It's really cool to see them together., as I'm a fan of Miyake's bands like 犬式 a.k.a. DOGGGYSTYLE and (仮)ALBATRUS! Thank you!

  25. "Cautiously excited" xD But yeah, it's easy to get disappointed by such a great announcement... but idk, in Utada I trust. I wasn't even a fan from long before her hiatus and I only really got to listen to her carefully when she was away. But I mean, say what you may, Manatsu no Tooriame is pure Utada and pure love. <3
