  1. I didn't watch the Grammy, cuz they usually suck, IMO. Though once in a while they have a couple of good artist's or surprises. Arcade Fire was definitely one of those surprises. *Goes to listen to Ready to Start. *

Whoa, didn't know there were so much hate for this band.

The Drums are an American indie pop band from Brooklyn, New York, with members stemming from the shortlived band Elkland (formerly Goat Explosion). The band is currently on the Moshi Moshi/Island (UK), Popfrenzy (AU) and Downtown (US) labels. Jonathan Pierce - vocals Jacob Graham - guitar Connor Hanwick - drums Tom Haslow - guitar(;ive) The Drums Debut Review. The Drums - Forever And Ever, Amen. This band was one of the best discovery's I made last year. They're just hella fun and catchy. I.E - Let's Go Surfing. They've got the whole indie pop thing perfected. If you aren't listening to them, you should be.

Meh, I wouldn't be surprised if people considered them victims of their success, but nonetheless I still greatly enjoy their music. Even if their music maybe be over-hyped, or mainstream at the moment.

A real legendary band. All of their stuff is awesome. I got into them through the wall, which is one of my fav albums of all times. I generally love the bands guitar work, lyrics, and singing style. Not to mention their artistic album covers, and live shows. Wish you were is another one of my fav albums of theirs.

I didn't actually get into these guys until Only by the Night. And Come Around sundown was a big improvement for them. I really loved that album, and thought it was much more solid and accessible. Just a really great band to listen to and chill out.

^ Oh Fuck, that's out? I've been waiting for months to get that. I'll definitely be playing it soon. In the meantime I'm working on Mirror's Edge.

They're awesome! Ever since Game I've become a huge fan. Especially since I'm a sucker for electro pop. I've been meaning to download their latest album. I'm hoping it's as awesome as their last.

^ Ha! That was a pretty rad movie. Shrek the 4th. A good comeback after the weak Shrek the third.

It's definitely one of the better albums released this year so far. Really worth checking out if you're a metal fan. Leach's vocal's are really powerful and you can feel a lot of passion behind them. It was definitely one of the main reasons I was psyched about the album, since I loved his vocals on KSE's Alive or Just Breathing. Though he easily surpasses that in terms of emotion and growlage.

^ I've actually considered this. Not for the tuning though, but because I wanted to play Nevermore songs.

WTF? That's the first I have ever heard of that. The only problem I 've ever known of Alex to have had was his alcoholism. He quit drinking like 5-6 years ago and is suppose to be a health and fitness enthusiast now. I'm going to say that's just a rumor of some sort. Or perhaps you're talking about Brandon? Either way it seems to baseless. After all they've released COTD like 2009, and Covers of the Damned in October of 2010. I'm pretty sure everyone's still alive.
  16. Times of Grace is an American metalcore duo, formed in 2008 in Southampton, Massachusetts. The group consists of Adam Dutkiewicz (Killswitch Engage) and Jesse Leach (The Empire Shall Fall, formerly of Killswitch Engage and Seemless). An album was planned for 2009. However, the group remained largely inactive until 2010, releasing the single "Strength in Numbers with their debut album, titled The Hymn of a Broken Man, released on January 18, 2011. Strength In Numbers: I was really looking forward to this album, and I've pretty much been listening to it non stop since I bought it over the weekend. It's a really strong debut, and it great to see Jesse and Adam together again. Favorite tracks: Strength in Numbers, Fight For Life, Willing, Where The Spirit Leads Me, Untill The End of Days(epic Growlage), Live In love, Hymn Of A Broken Man, Hope Remains, The Forgotten One, The End of Eternity, and Worlds Apart.

Gears of War 2. I'm stuck at the part where I have to defeat the giant Leviathan thingy locust.

^ Yeah that's true. I'm regretting not going to see them live when I had the chance. The last thing they released was an EP of cover songs from bands like the rolling stones and thin lizzy. Pretty good EP. But the songs I was most psyched about hearing was their cover of My Own Summer by the Deftones(since I'm huge Deftones fan). And I can say I wasn't disappointed. Except maybe for the intro, Alex did a pretty good job at recreating Chino's vocal style. And I like how they added their own sting to it.

Well, time has passed(lots of time), and I have grown to like Leads sails, even though it's not their best work. However, their latest album, Congregation Of The Damned, might be the BEST work they've ever done. Both musically and lyrically. I love the guitar leads, solo's and dual harmonies, brandon's melodic singing, and Alex's sing half a lyric cleanly, growl the rest approach, or vice versa. Really great come back, the heaviness is back! It might be as heavy as their early work, but it's heavy nonetheless. Plus it's got zombies! An added bonus in my book. My fav tracks: Stop! Before it's too late and we've destroyed it all, Bleeding is a Luxury, Congregation of the Damned, Coffin Nails, Black Days Begin, Gallows, Lonely, So Wrong, You Were King Now You're Unconscious, We Are The Living Dead, Bravery, and Ravenous.

Yeah I didn't like Pins and Needles right away. Which was weird since I loved all their early work on the first listen. It took a few listens, but I have grown to love it. There's definitely a better sound production, and a lot more heavier songs than on any other album they have ever done. Awesome for headbanging. I liked that their underground but the downside of that is they're music may not be as appreciated by as many people. Also, it's a bitch to find their albums in actual stores. I can only get my hands on their stuff by ordering it online, and even then it's a bit more expensive than your average Cd. Worth it though.
  21. ? Bullet For My Valentine - Waking The Demon ? Bullet For My Valentine - Your Betrayal ? I first heard a couple of songs from these guys from The Posion, but I didn't actually listen to an album of theirs till Scream, Aim, Fire, which was a great metal album. Loved every song on there. I ended up buying Fever, which wasn't as guitar crazy as SAF, but still awesome.
  22. I thought it would be interesting to see what kinda of musical talent the users have here. And for the record, the ability to sing counts. I grew up playing the violin, took lessons for it at school, and played in a orchestra. It was my first musical instrument and it's still my favorite. I can also play the recorder, piano, and guitar (which is by far one of the most challenging instruments I have ever played.) I recently learned bass, which is hella fun. Instruments I'd liked to know how to play: Cello Marimba Madelin 12 string guitar

Yeah, youtube sucks now. It's definitely not what it used to be. I've all ready had warnings on some of my videos. Both for jrock videos and my AMV"S. I'm one one warning away from getting deleted. I'm kinda reluctant to post anything else. I've also had the same issue with other sites. I really got into making anime music videos five years ago. I sucked at it at first, but I've spent quite some time perfecting my editing process, and I'm quite good at it now. I spend hours, days, weeks, and in some cases months creating them. It really sucks that I can barely upload any of my works and share them with people. Usually my account or video will get deleted for copyright reasons either due to the anime or song, sometimes both.

So just wondering, what does everybody use to listen to their tunes? I mostly listen to them on my computer at home through awesome bose computer speakers. I've had those speakers for five years and they're clear, loud and very powerful. Especially for computer speakers. On the go, I use to listen to music on my ipod nano, till it broke. I'm planning on buying a 160 GB classic Ipod this coming month, but I'm not quite sure. I've had friends who have the same ipod and have lots of problems with them. Like the ipod will freeze , restart itself, and you'll have to restore to factory setting for it to work again. And that means losing all your music on it. Or you'll transfer new music on to it, but it won't show up at all. I'm still not sure if it's the actually ipod, or itunes software. Lastly, I still use my old school boombox and cdplayer.

Yeah, CN isn't what it used to be, but its been improving. I really like stuff like Regular Show, Flapjack, Adventure Time, or Mad. I also rather enjoy their other series like Generator Rex or Sym-Bionic Titan, and miss the grim adventures of billy and mandy. Anyway before this turns into a CN thread, back to Outlaw star. After last nights episode I've concluded that the space dog battles in the show are pretty badass. And surprisingly, the show has a good deal of swearing, and sexual references.
