MODE OF GANGSTA SHOOT THE TARGETS HIDDEN IN YOUR MIND what
-
nice to see more power metal from them... and they even got a video game rpg composer to do the intro, sounds nice
-
The only remake they're playing is zan... the other ones are on the original versions. Tsumi to Batsu is being played on both versions.
-
surprisingly good
-
the only track they didn't play the original version was zan though, and it's probably their most similar remake so...
-
reports claim they didn't really enjoy playing yurameki, yokan or raison detre lel... exactly what I expected
-
sounds better than most of the end of the world
-
well, it seems sho becoming the only member was the change they mentioned earlier this year... nice to see that pale spectre cover, hugely influential song. I guess indie pop is their way to go!
-
This year's been very 2010 for me. And I even enjoyed this band a lot back then... should be fun if they manage to really come back
-
that looks totally like some djent album cover.

Los Awkis pls be in london ;_;

I don't really get why people need to hate on pitchfork so much... yeah, sometimes in the past they did act really arrogantly, but these days I generally agree with their reviews and lists. So many albums there I want to listen! From Wolves in the Throne Room, Zola Jesus and the likes to Prince and Smashing Pumpkins, I'm interested on almost all of these. Sounds like a decent later half of the year.

Overall some nice ideas, but there's no way I can think of this as anything else but a poor man's Shangri-la. Shangri-la's takes on different genres were a lot better than this. The ballads sound bland(there's no track as emotional as the self titled from the last album, though the last track does try decently), the agressive songs sound derivative... I'd give them a point or two for trying on tracks like "999", "The End of The World", "Hallelujah" and perhaps "Japanese"... those four are pretty enjoyable. Shangri-la's weakest track was probably Yozora no Craypas, while this one has stuff I just don't get, like "Ms. Fear" and "Ender Ender", and I generally enjoy their metalcore stuff. Average release, but considering they're on a roll right now and already announced their next single, I guess I'll just wait to see what they give us in the future.

Wait, what? The new album isn't even released and they're already announcing another single... lyl

https://soundcloud.com/onlyyoumusic/the-mirror-of-dreams-album-preview This guy is more like 80's pop, but I like his songs a lot. his first ep https://onlyyou.bandcamp.com/ Patrick Baker is also somewhat like that https://soundcloud.com/patrickbaker He is doind some New Jack Swing stuff right now, though. this guy is going to be doing a remix on the new Kristine single. Most of the stuff I know has already been mentioned on the thread anyways. Thanks for new stuff anyways guys

wow they even played stuff from kiyoharu's indies band. what the fuck
-
Sounds a bit different from the last album, I'm interested.
-
I don't have much time to comment right now, but I really enjoy this scene. Here's an album I just listened to and thought it was really nice http://timecop1983.bandcamp.com/album/journeys-2

https://mega.co.nz/#!aFdiQILZ!sfrk3rDbCaEQsEHdSx8zWLwMhvt3p5J2e5ISeOl1L40 download link for the preview video. by mucc69 on tumblr reminds me a lot of shangri la. 21st century world melody reminds me of the last chorus from the 21st century baby demo, may be related... pretty interesting how the last track isn't previewed, makes me damn curious
