  1. It's been a while since I've written a review on here.

First of all I want to say, that I was really curious about the album, because I was always wondering how Seth would pull off the old Juka songs.

Personally I prefer Juka, but still I'll to be objective on this.

My favorite songs were: front et baiser, vestige, pageant

I loved the new elements in front et baiser. The intro was a nice addition to an already awesome song.

Vestige is a song I never really liked, but with Seth on vocals it kind of grew on me.

Pageant was always a Seth song for me. I always thought about how well his voice would match it and it seems like I was right about it.

Overall I liked the album, but still it didn't completely fulfill my expectations. Why? Lack of power. In my honest opinion Seth did a good job on the three songs up there, but the other songs feel kind of empty and especially the choruses are kind of weak.

I also have the feeling, that he sings a bit sloppy throughout the release.

The question is: Why does he do that even though he can do better? It doesn't sound too well and doesn't really match that "dark and beautiful" image Mana once wanted to create.

Another thing, that's bugging me is the overall mixing of the album. Everything is so separated, that it sounds like everyone's playing by himself and not as a whole band.

I'd give the album a 4/5. Even though there are many points on my "cons" -list it is quite enjoyable. No song is really bad. Some are outstanding with Seth on vocals.

Oh yeah and I didn't mention the new song as it just doesn't do it for me. It seems to be well-composed and stuff, but for some reason it just vanishes out of my head right after listening to it.

  2. Am I the only one who thinks that the preview of Hysteric Liar sounds bad? I really loved aim's version, but this one just sounds generic and boring imo.

And I'm pretty sure that the solo won't be even half as badass as in the original song, as galeyd aren't as badass as they were as aim.

    . . . Still I'm looking forward to it :D

  3. Listening to God Palace at the moment

Sounds like you've improved your singing a bit =)

There are some parts which aren't perfect (e.g. some note which aren't held, some lack of energy at a few of the higher notes), but other than that good job! =)

E: just read the video description :D If it's the version you've sent me back then I like it better now :D

  4. I do believe in stuff like that.

Had some really f'ed up stuff going on in our house a few years ago. Stuff flying out of bookshelves, schemes standing next to my bed, some weird breathing behind me at night and also some positive things like a light blue-ish "thing" floating above my head, giving me and a friend (who's also seen it) kind of a good feeling I cannot describe.

Sounds pretty strange, but those things are the reason why I believe in paranormal stuff.

  5. This time I don't post covers, but own songs ... actually 2 of them.

Both are guitar pro + vocals as I can't play any of the instruments.

I'd love to get some feedback =)

    Never-Ending Winter

A Melodic Death Metal track I've written a while ago. I'd love to record it with real instruments someday xD

    Face

Dunno what kind of genre you'd call it ... Metalcore maybe? It's a song I've written in 2010 for KyuuKe.

It was never finished, so did it in the last few days.

  6. gotta agree - the concert in cologne was awesome!

Of course it would have been better with ouka saki some ni keri and snow white (which they kind of never play :\), but on the whole it was a great concert - especially when they played yami yori kurai etc when I turned to kaleidoscope and told him "it would be totally awesome if they played yami yori etc now" :D

Also I think it was pretty cool to meet other members from MH there - I think it was the first time I've met someone else than only kaleidoscope! xD

As the others already said - the girl shouting "PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE COME TO SWITZERLAND PWETTY PWEASE!!!!" as final question of the Q&A was f'n annoying :\

On the whole a great concert though

  7. Didn't have internet for a while and the first thing I've seen when getting back online was this...

Worst day ever... I didn't think they'd disband too soon because of their name.

I hope that it doesn't have got anything to do with shaura's condition or something like that and that he'll form something new in near future (hopefully again with kaz and/or mikage)

Meh, seriously, imo they were one of the best bands of that genre nowadays.
