The single in overall was quite okay, a huge improvement after the flop that was "Headache..."-album. BUT 1) I don't approve of breakdowns in Kiyoharu's songs at all 2) they are really not trying to sound different from the rest of Kiyoharu's solo 2) B-side could have a lot more to offer, especially with that bass. 6/10

AUUUU ZDES KTO NIBUD' DOMA? A A A A? ZDOROVO, REBYATKI. ... *ubezhal*
-
Someone, please make a Mejibray medley consisting only ofTsuzuku's vocal freakouts/duck vox (including that "BURGH URGH URGH URGH URGH URGH *collapse*" thing he did during lives)
-
The Gazette's Agony has a drumbeat that is way too similar to Korn's Wicked cover, also: the excessive usage of similar whammy-high guitar parts. You might call it "an influence" but I gotta post it anyway.
-
Yes and I thought ABC was the only vk project to do "80s Jpop"-cover parade this time...
-
I suppose you got it wrong, since it's a tribute album for SADS this time, not Kuroyume Kinda wondering what Love Me Do Pv's doing there, 'twas supposed to be a "special gift" for fans (iTunes material) after all?
-
Instead of having a decent review thread, we are left to cope with degbox troll's views on how bad are "ojiisans" nowadays? Geez. Either way, the release itself was okay - Aki's cover was kind of funny, considering that heavy metal guitars and his vocals don't really go well but SERAFINE, Blind Boy project, The Godsend and I Can Hear the Rain were quite cool. We have a very good tribute album for a long time, finally
-
Kinda wondering if "The Godsend" is going to be either acoustic or just performed by Kiyoharu's studio session act. Also, interesting choices - lol @ Aki in " Sacrifice Of The Vision"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1cCs7rcba0 Kiyoharu covering Frankie Goes to Hollywood's "Relax" Kiyoharu covering The Doors' "Hello, I Love You" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8RVvuyomQOc Kiyoharu covering Akina Nakamori's "TATTOO" (also ironically one of his most known solo songs) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aP3hAN0YaUo Ayumi Hamasaki and Kiyoharu covering SADS' "Masquerade"

^ I was pretty sure that GD wouldn't rip off some basic oshare song. So yeah, I can hear the source for both. Makes sense in overall Oh, and as I mentioned, Kuroyume's "Happy Birthday" bassline is pretty much "Lust for Life" as well
-
"original" (2007) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EuIh0MNXhOc (2012) You will notice it during choruses Oh, and the bassline in both songs seem to be lifted off Iggy Pop song? Hahaha.
-
I suppose it will have HYDE singing all the vocal parts instead of "guest artists"
-
Yup Looking forward to this too off-topic: Tsumi sounded a lot like Rottengraffty song though, lol.
-
Glamorous Sky - cover parade (note: HYDE was the composer of this song) also, L'arc~en~ciel - New World (original) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9G1-PZSHB-M Kat-Tun - New World (tv special?)
-
It's like a mix of L'arc, Houyoku and Shion-era Mucc Cool.
-
One word: One-night stands >pretty much ruin everything, including your vibes for something >too hard to cover up
-
#inb4lotuswallpaperdrama I just adore blue/purple colors too much You can also recommend me something better. In the meanwhile, I am coding a custom layout for myself too

I think I like the preview

the Gazette's FADELESS sounds too much like Luna Sea's Sweetest Coma Again in many parts. So yeah, appropriate place for this post.
-
Kago no Sanagi was a part of Kai's doings too

Necroing this http://garanero.tumblr.com/post/31599353848/haku-ri-the-gazette-leech-ohp-theme (OHP theme for "Distorted City of Tokyo"-concept, spans from mid-2008 till DISTRESS AND COMA-era, made by Ruki as with many other SEs) Just a quick nostalgia throwback, you might take this as a reference to my latest post in Gazette news thread
-
I am gonna get way too off-topic with this but http://kazukokun.blogspot.fi/2011/05/gazette-song-composser.html (it's not 100% reliable but you get some ideas straight anyway) You would say the "definitive" work of Gazette is done mainly by Ruki and Uruha, so I guess they should have just stuck to two-man cooperation instead of "yeah, Ruki is making 10 songs at home while the rest can come up with 2-3 songs probably" (fits perfectly for Division - the hell, songs itself sound like they were pro-tools'd to death ) Or other option - for Gazette to go on a long hiatus, and Ruki to find himself through solo career a la http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m36ftwXhN01rsizeso1_r1_400.jpg'>Sonny Moore from ex-"From First to Last"-fame
