Any idea why they disband? Are they really that unloved?

What's overseas popular doesn't mean it's popular in Japan. Also sometimes bands throw out CD releases even if they are not that popular. Same goes for appearing in venues. Some bandman have pretty good connections or just a bag full of money. I doubt it's pretty much not really possible to know a band popularity. Unless you know how many people always attent a bands live. livehouse capacity is a thing but only for one-man gigs. 2-man 3-man gigs.. well maybe the other band is more popular. And then still... how many people went? was it full? half full? even more less? I think it's pretty hard to know for us fans if a band is really that popular. But as for your website, you can check out how many people own or want a CD. However also not ever user on your website keeps up the list of owned and wishing CD's....

Digital I guess yes, but there are surely sites who provide their country sales. However its also nice to know how much Japanese people download legal. But just the real CD, Those we buy on amazon, hmv, CDjapan etc. guess those sales are inside.

Well, lot's of music also get sold digital, itunes, line music and other japanese platforms, there should be stats for that too 100%. I had once a link to check all itunes sales. But since my PC crashed last year.... I lost the link. However maybe I can try to find a person who knows those stuff o.o Don't know how to contact her but.., I try to find out if she is still around online EDIT: Got the answer! @cvltic

sadly acid black cherry isn't in the run anymore. singles/albums got sold 50,000～100,000 easy also many lives got sold out even budokan. but let's not forget bands also sell digital.

So selling 1000 copies seems to be hard for most bands?! Even hitting 4000 is hard. If you see this list, it's no wonder why CD's are that expensive. In the end they don't sell that much.

That's a reason why I do travel alone. I'm more of meeting up people there. Also if I would travel with someone I WOULD go for different room / hotel. I mean... private time you also need.

Also their new image has been published CD info 01. 依存と嫉妬 (Izon to shitto) 02. 恋死曲 (Koijini kyoku) 1500yen CD+DVD: The DVD includes the MV or Izon to Shitto.

Maybe their PV isn't produced by Kiwamu himself. They did publish the PV on their youtube/twitter on May 31. Which is a song of their 1st CD. (which they released themselves). So I doubt it's shoot by Kiwamu. And to get concert gigs, well... starwave doesn't really pull out real amazing events. But maybe it's more easy to get invited.... We will see how this band will go to under Kiwamu. Hopefully their own ego is strong enough to create the music THEY want. However... sometimes bands really go into a WTF direction all by themselves. (aka CQ).
