  1. I did, that's why I'm happy it's not here. This, and others things...

Hmm, there's some footage on my channel from various TV shows, but I can't imagine them releasing anything from that era ever again. Regarding tereko, I'm not sure how many people here are into those. I only know two or three, for Dir en grey. Besides, the Western trading scene is very small and they mostly don't talk about it openly, from my experience. As for Japanese traders, they're shunned by other fans, as far as I know. It's illegal in Japan anyway.
  3. No, it's a meme on Kyo's habit to wear adidas in around 2007. Good thing his stage boners didn't become a meme...

  5. From kyotaku: The new song (06) with a video including a man wearing a quite scary leather mask starts fast, I can already see a lot of headbanging at seated venues. Kyo mostly sang fast, but some parts had shouts/shrieks. The rythm/speed changed few times - like sprinting and then jumping high for a while to go sprinting again. The new song (07) had a video with the images of several serial killers, there was also a line like お前、そして見下して (will try to confirm tomorrow) appearing several times; Kyo definitely sings 'omae’ repeatedly and that’s why the song had been code named 'omae’ 😁 This song is apparently the one they played during the mode of DSS, but I’ll be completely honest - I couldn’t remember it so it felt like a new new song 😅 it’s a fast one as well.

Go on, if you want. Love to read other people's opinions on Deg, especially since I don't have much clue about music myself.
  7. It's almost entirely guttural, lots and lots of screaming and growling. A lot resembles the "Bring them to light" performances back in the day. I would say it's more The inferno than Midwife, because Midwife only become faster in its second half.

Nice, I really enjoy their lives :]
  9. I'm not sure why he calls it that. Personally, if I didn't know better, I wouldn't think it was a song by them. Not sure how to describe it, it's very "poppy", "up-beat"...? Dunno if those terms fit what I'm trying to say. The song starts with guitars, then at 0:10, drums join and then the rest. Kyo starts singing at 0:22, first bridge(?) at 0:55 (I cannot love myself *Toshiya growl* x3), then chorus, then the song changes its beat at 1:28 (short Guitar strumming 4/4... I think? Like Dun-Dun-Dun-Dun). Second verse at 1:42, bridge (this time more gibberish) again at 2:03, followed by music only, refrain again at 2:32, then climax at 2:52, followed by a short Guitar riff, Kyo sings again and that's it. 3:30 long.
  10. According to a friend: 詩踏み → intense 人間 → intense 新曲(DSS) → intense 新曲(GOMAD) → anime song (lol) 新曲(HUMANSKIN) → intense? Ranunculus → calm / quiet
  11. 理由 me up! (理由 me up inside) What's the reasoning for that? With Ranunculus, the lyrics were on screen. For the other song, "I cannot love myself" (or sth like that) was audible and/or on screen, too. Kyotaku calls it "Punk's Not Dead", iirc. It's so confusing, all these new songs @.@

It's probably a wordplay on this: http://tangorin.com/dict.php?dict=general&s=猫を被る Also, I asked kyotaku for her take on the title translations and wow, would you look at that: 01. 軽蔑と始まり (Keibetsu to Hajimari) - scorn and beginning 07. 赫 (Aka (could also be read as ‘kaku’ but English dir site lists it as 'aka’)) - shine, glitter 11. 谿壑の欲 (Keigaku no Yoku) - unlimited, insatiable desire 12. 絶縁体 (Zetsuentai) - insulator (the cap from the merchandise from this tour has 絶縁 (insulation/disconnection) printed on it so I’m assuming that one of the new songs (new or new-new) they play is this song ) 13. Ranunculus - the language of flowers says 'attractive’ or 'brilliant’ Looks like my translations aren't that wrong at all, huh. Who would've thought.

Sorry, I have no answer to that. 😕

They played the new "Wake" today, as well as two entirely new songs. Also, the DSS song got changed.

Thanks for the constructive criticism and alternate translations, guys. Appreciate it! But now that I have more time, let me revise the names: 軽蔑 means "scorn", "disdain" or "contempt". と can mean either "and" or "with". I decided to go with the latter on a whim, maybe because it's the first track and 始まり means "origin" or "beginning". So, "Beginning With Contempt". Could also mean "Contempt and Beginning", but that sounds weird. 人間を被る is "Wearing Human", but because of their tour title "Wearing Human Skin", I decided to translate it as that, to keep it more official. 被る also means "to bear a burden", so the title could also be understood as "Bearing the burden of mankind". 詩踏み isn't "Poetry Rhyming", but "Poetry Trampling". I forgot to change it on the wiki and copied it from there. The latter kanji possibly refers to 踏み絵, tablets with Christian images, on which Edo-period authorities forced suspected Christians to trample. 赫 is a rather rare Kanji, comprised of the Kanji for "red" times two. It's used in a variant of "kagayaku", which means "to shine", and you might know if from Tokyo Ghoul, where it's used in the word "Kagune". But with the reading "aka", it's (apparently) really uncommon. 谿壑の欲 comes from a Japanese saying that desires aren't satisfied if they happen one after another. The actual saying is written as 渓壑の欲 and translates to something like "Desire of Ravines". 絶縁体 means "Insulator" (https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/絶縁体), but I suppose the deeper meaning would be along the lines of someone isolates themselves from humans. Something like that. So, if you guys want to criticise something, please don't do it like those two. That doesn't help anyone.
  17. Says a lot about their maturity if people don't listen to a song because of its name. But I suppose most of the people here, me included, just like making fun of things, no matter if they like them or not.

"Values of Madness" and "谿壑の欲" (Ravenous Greed) sound like names for the DSS song: "The song they played at mode of DSS reminds me of "Bring them to light", tempo-wise. It's entirely guttural, too. There's a slower, more melodic part in the middle. ~3 minutes long." The other, no idea. btw: 軽蔑と始まり = Keibetsu to Hajimari = Beginning With Scorn 人間を被る = Ningen o Kaburu = Wearing Human Skin 詩踏み = Utafumi = Poetry Rhyming 赫 = Aka = Illuminate 谿壑の欲 = Keigaku no Yoku = Ravenous Greed 絶縁体 = Zetsuentai = Insulator The name Ranunculus is Late Latin for "little frog", the diminutive of rana. It's also a name of the buttercup flower.
  19. I can imagine Kyo thinking up the titles and then using google translate to translate them, tbh...
