I know. But not all Hanji are Kanji and in the lyrics wikia version of the Wake lyrics, they use Hanji (exclusively Chinese characters). Hmm, sometimes the lyrics are weird. I checked the band score already, but there's no て there, either. It's alright. I've listened to it nine times now, I think, and while it doesn't have the depth of my favourite album ARCHE, there are still new things to discover here and there. But then again, I don't have an ear for music, so I can't say much about the production or anything like that. It's not their best album, but it's definitely one to enjoy live.

Nobody is acting pretentious. Those lyrics are simply wrong. Why would a Japanese band use Chinese characters in the first place, anyway? Also, I haven't been active on lyrics wikia for two years, but I fail to see what that has to do with anything.

I corrected the lyrics in July 2017...

Na, those are hanji, Chinese characters. I think he's confusing kanji and hanji? 😅

今は抱き締めたい always confuses me because it sounds like 今は抱き締めてたい to my gaijin ears ><

Good thing they left it off of TIW. I wonder if they'll include it in the upcoming tour. Just checked their last setlists, it's actually their most recently played song (last encore on September 15). Can't wait to see it live again ._.

Keibetsu, Devote, Ranunculus and from the remakes Wake. In general, I really like the direction they went with this album, since my musical background isn't vk anyway. And since I have no ear for music, I don't understand any of the complaints from others here. I appreciate the roughness of the songs, the screams and growls and even the rap. No clue what it means when you say the album sounds flat or whatever. Also, I think Zetsuentai's length is enough, there's no need for a VINUSHKA on each album. There are some parts that I don't like (like the first few "Fist" in Rubbish Heap, why do they sound so Mickey Mouse-ish?), but overall, it's a good album. It's probably the nostalgia that makes me like ARCHE more, though.

"Riyuu" is the normal reading of the kanji, but Kyo decided it should be "wake", an alternative reading. It's the same with Karma, which is usually read as "gyou" or "waza". Those names are leftovers from the vkei craze back in the day, I suppose. Like Tooru Nishimura. Sorry if I came off as condescending or arrogant btw, I'm just genuinely surprised, since even the English OHP gives the name as "wake". But then again, I suppose most fans don't care about this. Anyway, the remake is very nice, I like the additional part. I don't have an opinion on the other two tracks. They're alright, I guess.

I think it happens on... Utafumi? In the last half? I had the same thought an hour or so ago, while correcting the lyrics on the wiki. Definitely noticeable. That channel also uploaded the three live tracks btw.

There are still people who think that song's name is "Riyuu"? 🤨 Anyway, the part at the end of Wake appears to be: 後悔なんてしていない // Kōkai nante shite inai 俺も俺の一つさ // Ore mo ore no hitotsu sa 惨めに後悔を愛するよりはましだろ？ // Mijime ni kōkai o aisuru yori wa mashidaro? 君を失くし // Kimi o nakushi

That explains the three production mistakes. Damn. Now I want to buy it even more, in case they release a fixed version as they did with the Shibuya-AX DVD. Edit: Ah, I'm dumb. The Utafumi lyrics are complete, I just can't see the last part (さあ~) on the picture I have.

They also included wrong lyrics for Utafumi... Was the production of the booklet rushed or something? Never seen so many mistakes before.

One sentence and the longer opening/ending. As I said it would be :^) Lyrics are up on the wiki, but some words of the translations are missing due to bad source photos.

Yeah but it's not translated, whereas the rest of the song is. So I suppose that's a mistake^^ Is it different in the regular / first press?

So I know it's not important anymore, but the release of the album on the streaming websites depends on the websites themselves. It should be available tomorrow morning in Germany, don't know about other countries. Kyo at today's signing event:

I dunno, I only have the lyrics. But according to live reports, there were new lyrics at the end of Wake, I think. No idea why the three songs have no lyrics in the booklet...

The reworked songs apparently didn't get (new) lyrics... huh. Damn, Devote My Life lyrics are over the top.
