I was wondering about the time zone thing too.

In my experience people in Japan are definitely more hesitant to leak stuff online, but DEG is popular enough that there’s gonna be at least one person who doesn’t care. They are probably more uptight about recording concerts.

Arche leaked like immediately after coming out in Japan.

Going by the 2ch thread it will probably be online within the next 12 hours. People got emails last night saying they’d be delivered today.

I really doubt it. I don’t think any of them even speak English at a functional level.

People who pre-ordered the album in Japan will be getting the album early today. Unfortunately this doesn’t apply to me since I’m back in my home country (US) until next year. I’m sure it will leak though. Btw is there a vinyl release planned for this album? I regret not buying DSS on vinyl when I saw it years ago at a Hot Topic. I have a record player but I don’t even use it that often, I just prefer having the big artwork and stuff on a record over a small CD case that will probably just break anyway. 99% of the time if I’m actually listening it will be digital though since I have bad speakers for my record player.

You’re right it does say that, but it’s obviously not true for NoK. Maybe only certain parts were changed. This sounds amazing. I’m loving the mathcore vibes on the second track. And 赫 sounds gorgeous.

Rubbish Heap really reminds me of Suicide Season era BMTH.

Kyo sounds better on the Ash live version than he does on the studio version lmao. The scream rapping on Values of Madness reminds me of Maximum the Hormone. The new vocals on Utafumi are fine but will take some getting used to after listening to the single a million times. It’s nice to actually be able to hear the guitar riff for once. Did they replace the guitar with synth in the Kigan intro? It’s hard to tell with the low quality. Also why does the electronic sounding intro sound so quiet in the Values of Madness sample compared to the radio edit version... I liked that stomping feel.

They sound the same to me besides the added scream at the beginning. I like the mathcore-ish dissonant chords, they remind me of the new Vein album earlier this year that was also great. Saishu will hate it though lol.

That was my fear after Arche too, that DEG and sukekiyo we’re running together too much (even if they’re both good.) The vocal track in Phenomenon sounds exactly like sukekiyo. I’m glad he is doing more harsh vocals again to make the two projects more distinct from each other.

I don’t think the album length has been confirmed anywhere. I’ve been keeping up with Japanese interviews and nothing has been said about that. Between this and the new mewithoutYou album I’m slowly losing my mind, one of them better leak already

Oh boy thanks! Shinya did a radio interview yesterday. For some reason half the interview was about board games so I didn’t pay much attention to that part lol. But he said that the new album has three times as much energy as Arche and the drumming is super heavy. He also said that the writing was a collaborative effort between members and he doesn’t know who the main songwriter for each track is.
