sadly not digging the new single (track 2 kinda sounds like some religious sutra haha) and best of album maybe it's because i'm too used to listening to the original versions but kazuki's voice isn't as powerful in the remakes - would still buy the album when i go to japan (if it's even still available 3 months later lmao) because they have many good songs on there. was really looking forward to the new single because yukitokei was beautiful, but oh well, i'll just wait for the next one! they're still a really promising band to me.

i'm really digging ザアザア (xaa-xaa) these days, their songs are really easy to listen to

^Namie Amuro really brings back childhood feels for me i have no idea why lmao <3 1. MEJIBRAY - Nepenthes 2. Donna Burke - Glassy Sky 3. NICO Touches the Walls - Niwaka Ame ni Mo Makezu 4. DIAURA - ID 5. MeteoroiD - Haitokusha ni Keirei wo 6. Nokubura - Libra -another scene- 7. the GazettE - Pledge 8. sForzato - Fallen 9. ザアザア - Yukitokei 10. Lycaon - Psychedelic Jelly Yukitokei has been my favourite song for quite a long time now, I just love how emotional Kazuki's voice sounds in it. Man this makes me realise I ought to find some time to transfer some more songs from my computer lmao :x

i'm looking forward to seeing ippu/haruki perform quite of makes me wonder how mejibray would be like today if he hadn't left :/

i really love koichi's hair (especially his high ponytail)... so much so that i decided to dye it the same colour as his lmao :x

most visual kei bands don't make much money, and many end up disbanding a few years in (or less). not uncommon to hear bandmen having to fork out their own money to pay for booking a livehouse if they don't meet their ticket sales quota :/

i've been into k-pop since around 2007-2008, and i've stuck around till end-2014 where i finally discovered j-rock lol. in my opinion, k-pop is definitely more geared towards the younger generation than j-rock (that's not to say they don't have older fans of course). k-pop is pretty much very alike, even if a group's concept changes, most of their music still sound like the generic k-pop sound, not to mention how similar everyone looks lmao. it's nice for a while, but it does get kinda stale after some time. on the other hand, j-rock is extremely diverse and every band you come across sound quite different from the previous (though some do sound alike). if anything, k-pop has better entertainment than j-rock though, such as all the variety shows and everything (japan has them, but certainly not for j-rockers).

had to sit down in a corner for a few minutes because i had no idea at all kazuki and reiya are brothers lmao (or at least, thought of as) i've always thought that minpha and chizuru from pentagon look pretty alike, as well as reiki and yuki from loudgrape.

as much as i love koichi from mejibray, i've always noticed his chin :/ i know that he's lost a ton of weight since his vanessa days, but then....... is it even possible for one's chin to be so perfect after losing all that baby fat LOL
-
sounds kinda divergence-ish to me lol not exactly my type of mejibray music, but still they always manage to make their songs easy to listen to if i were to be honest, their music haven't been all that great after nepenthes (eiki was good in a different way though) anyway am i the only one totally digging 'hiai' in their new album lmao it's good

.......i wasn't expecting that anytime soon lol first lycaon, and now avelcain? shimizuya.. :x
