That Pennywise looks like an adult who thinks he is a kid.

It seems pretty confusing from the description. I haven't bought a Nintendo console since the Wii but I'm kind of interested in this.

I remember an MH member that had something like this in their signature. And it was always someone with pink hair in his profile pic.

Anyone else think it's weird that they haven't announced anything about what's coming next? I thought they typically do that at the final show of a tour. Hopefully we get something on Halloween.
  5. Independence Day, because I love lighting illegal fireworks.

    Yay you updated! I'm hooked.
  7. My major professor asked me if I wanted to help fix a paper from 2014 and get my name added as a co-author after it is published.
  8. PS3, PS3, and Nintendo DS. I will probably get a PS4 when the price drops.

Man I thought they were going to announce a new album or single. Still it's pretty cool that they are going back to an earlier period.
  10. First time I listened to visual kei was in 2011 but I didn't really get into it until 2012.

Watched Blair Witch last night with a friend. I prefer movies shot in a "normal" format as opposed to found footage. This was my first time watching a movie shot in that style. The cuts were abrupt and it felt like they were trying to scare you by making noises during them. The decisions made by the characters seemed really bad and unrealistic. I wished that the first part had shown more instead of just screaming and making it sound like the trees were alive. None of the horror was subtle but nothing was really shown either, so I was somewhat disappointed at the end. I never watched the original but I am interested in it now. If I had to describe the movie in one word it would be unrealistic.

I wonder if the new art added to the poster will be used for their next release.

I believe the only lyrics to both of these songs are unofficial.

Right now it is 流石. It just seems very unique yet applicable to many situations. I often find myself wanting to say it.
  15. I self-studied Japanese in senior year of high school and double majored in it in college (still learned a lot by myself though). I read novels occasionally and can write, speak, and understand a decent amount, although I think I'm the weakest at speaking.

Didn't know about Insanity Injection before this but they look interesting. One of the main reasons I listen to visual kei is that it isn't mainstream, so I don't really mind if it doesn't get much attention.

According to the FAQ, you can support an artist by sending "LO▼U" to them. You get 1 LO▼U every fifteen minutes, and it is free but you can buy V points in the store and exchange it for more LO▼U (12 V points for 1 LO▼U). There are artist rankings updated every hour by how much LO▼U they have received and there is also a gya ranking for fans (lol) according to how much LO▼U they have sent. There will be monthly events with artists performing and fans can receive invitations to them and presents.

I know someone around my age who did that and had to go to jail.
  19. Koji Suzuki is one of my favorite Japanese authors. Ringu was the first novel I read in Japanese and it got me hooked, in a way. My favorite book in the series is Rasen, though. The two later stories S and Tide weren't as good, although they sort of conclude the series. I've read a few of his horror anthologies and liked them too. Last year he published an anthology about Aokigahara but I haven't had the chance to read it yet. I also like Kei Oishi's novelizations of Juon. The original one had a scene that I still remember for how scary it was just reading it. I haven't read his other novels but all of the novelizations are pretty good. I enjoy reading Mishima's works too. I think he was a very interesting person and after reading some of this books as an undergraduate, I got more interested in him. I want to read Kinkakuji if I get the chance, but The Sailor Who Fell from Grace with the Sea was pretty good.
  20. Found a place to live next year.

It was pretty small. Everyone was standing, although I know some of the other venues they went to in the US were bigger. But that meant I was able to get pretty close to them. It was actually the first concert I ever went to and I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was intense and it was something I'll never forget.

Nice! I've always wanted to see them in Japan but I was able to see them in San Francisco a few months ago.
