i bought the limited edition of the new lynch. single that comes with the live dvd
 
maybe i'll get the new MUCC dvd on my next paycheck.
 
the gazette dvd is surprisingly cheap compared to their other releases 

You always have those fans that will give off the generic answer "anything after they went major is bad" that they apply with any band. >.> Personally, I would recommend the excellent Gallows. Just recently rediscovered how good and overlooked that album is. 

That was hardly even a discussion, bruh. I don't mind important topics like that being discussed, but when they turn into bitch-fests and flamewars, then it's over.

I don't mind being transparent about my decisions. Honestly, I felt it best to close the topic instead of literally handing just about everyone in that thread a warning. 
 
It's ok for things to get heated - they're emotional topics - but when you start flinging insults and personal attacks, then you don't have a valid argument. It becomes an entirely different ballgame at that point. You can't expect people to be thickskinned about your insults, while at the same time expecting them to be sensitive towards the point you're trying to make. It won't work.

Toru Hidaka is my idol. Funny enough, it was Beat Crusaders that got me into Japanese music.

a certain MH member got laughed at and he got really mad about it and posted some images implying that he reported the forum to RIAJ for copyright violation. the DL section was taken down, the member was banned. now we wait. the thread @Flame-X posted is just someone having a (lame) laugh about it

in all honesty hillary is going to rig the election again so this is comedy

They really have developed as a group. I do hope they keep going for a while.

i think it is interesting you say that @lichtlune. In some ways that means I achieved the goal I set out to with ORZ. When @CAT5and I originally founded ORZ it was in response to a dearth of well thought out ideas on an album. a "review" used to consistute a sentence or two and then a contrived rating. we didn't feel as if such a system gave a reader an honest impression of the music.

ORZ has their way of doing things and that shouldn't affect how non-ORZ members use the review forum. its part of the reason why i created a subforum for ORZ reviews in the first place. and even within ORZ there aren't lots of rules about how to write things. we agreed on a standard template only because it's easier for us. but for example there's no such thing as a review length. they can be as short or as long as they want. i've written reviews that are pages long and reviews that are only 2 paragraphs. it's really about what you have to say and how many words it takes you to say it. so really the concept of a mini-review doesn't exist to me. any sufficiently detailed thoughts about a release constitutes as a review in my mind and is always welcome in the review section. if they aren't directly related to a release and are general comments about an album they can go in the artist thread or even the general forum.
