  1. This album just screams out 'bland'. So does his next album. And his work in Seremedy.

I used to be sort of a fan of Yohio, but now all he does is make me snore. His music reminds me of American emo/scene/screamo bands that no one really gives a fuck about. At least I like Heartbreak Hotel, it's pretty catchy. I can't believe he has a fucking Vocaloid too...

  2. I also really loved this single, it's given me hope for Kamijo's solo career. I hope his future releases are as good as this one, maybe even better. So far, Symphony of the Vampire is kinda average compared to this.

Louis - This totally fits Kamijo's sound, it sounds so badass~ The PV is amazing, and at the time, I didn't really know Kamijo all that good, so this was a really good first impression.

Grazioso - It was nice, and the length didn't really bother me that much. I liked the music box theme that went with it. ^^

Gensou Trianon - I like the sound of this one, very Jrock-ish. Sounds very beautiful.

Overwall, I really enjoyed this single. Although Symphony of the Vampire wasn't as memorable, I hope more of Kamijo's songs are more memorable like this one.

  3. I can't believe no one has brought up Gara from Merry.

He's a huge fanboy of Dir en Grey, specifically Kyo. (And he's also a huge fan of Kiyoharu too)

    • He started off as a Diru roadie, and Kyo basically became his "senpai", giving him advice when he became a musician and basically forming a bond with him.
    • Merry covered Diru's song Schwein no Isu for the album, Crush! -90's V-Rock Best Hit Cover Songs-.
    • Gara appeared as guest vocals for one of Kyo's solo songs, I think it's Sukaporutoruno 'Kiyomizudera Porno Type'.
    • Kyo produces Merry under his label Firewall Div.
    • Gara and Kyo posed together in one issue of Massive.

  4. The name's Dyxanadu. I'm also known as Bardie.

I'm kinda new-ish to the visual kei scene, been a fan for about a couple of years now, but don't really consider myself an expert or anything. I just really like how the whole thing works, it's so crazy sometimes. Although most visual bands do look nice, I'm not in this just for the looks, I do care about the music too. As long as they sound good, then they're cool.

My first visual kei band was Megaromania, may they rest in peace. I also like MERRY, Moi dix Mois, Metis Gretel, Versailles, Dir en Grey, Lin -the end of corruption world-, KISAKI Project, etc. As of recently, I've started listening to bands such as Phantasmagoria and X JAPAN. I like some oldies too, such as Da'vid Shito:AL and Malice Mizer. I tend to listen to indie bands more, yet I'm also now trying out mainstream bands as well.

I have a growing collection of VK items such as photosets, chekis, and magazines mostly purchased from people selling them on Tumblr. *_* I haven't attended a single VK concert, which depresses me, and I want to learn Japanese, partially to be a bit closer to the VK bands I like, to know what they're saying. ;w; After all, I've been very interested in Japanese culture for as long as I can remember.

I've been on this forum on and off when randomly googling something, but now, I've been actually acknowledging it, and I think this may be a good place where I could make some VK friends. This seems like a nice place I guess, haven't been on a forum in a very long time. I'd like to know more people who are into visual kei, and just visual kei in general. I hope I have a good time here. ♥

    xoxo
