CAT5 9075 Posted April 6, 2020 Nice! Given the look of the album cover, I wonder if they're gonna go for a harder sound this time?

CAT5 9075 Posted April 7, 2020 ^ It seems they dropped the new album for free due to COVID-19 and all the resulting madness. A friend on my social media wrote the following: Quote Please consider buying music from their Bandcamp page, as the band has been hit really hard by the restrictions and safety concerns brought on by the coronavirus. Firstly, all their shows been cancelled until the virus lets up (which most likely means they won't get to play the scheduled release shows for this album). Plus, their ability to distribute the new album and make a bit of money back from it has been seriously undermined because the band is completely independent and they only sell their music at live shows (which are cancelled), at the Throat Records store (which is closed), and through online orders from their website. So two of their only three distribution methods have been closed off, which is part of why they're selling the new album digitally now. Also, the closure of Throat Records cuts Takahisa's income down as he owns and operates the store, and Takuto owns and runs a cafe/bar that can't take seated customers right now and is resorting to selling take-out boxes. Takahisa also wrote a really earnest blog post explaining the sudden release as well as reflecting on the current situation and its impact on him and the general community. It's pretty good read to go along with the album. https://hostage.hatenadiary.org/entry/2020/04/06/193316
