hyura 465 Posted August 6, 2016 The two tracks by Romance for~ on the THE END OF THE CENTURY ROCKERS Ⅲ sampler fit together so well that I decided to translate both of them. : ) Maybe somebody enjoys those. ----- Acacia いつもと違う今日の夢は Itsumo to chigau kyou no yume waMy dream feels different from usual tonight白い花に包まれて Shiroi hana ni tsutsumareteSheeted with white flowers綺麗な君が僕に笑いかける Kireina kimi ga boku ni waraikakeruAs you give me your beautiful smile 何も望まない だから Nani mo nozomanaiI don't wish for anything moreDakaraSo please僕の側にいて…… Boku no soba ni ite......Stay with me...... 「夢よ 覚めないで」 "Yume yo"Dear dreamSamenaide"Please don't end"「君がいるのなら」 "Kimi ga iru no nara""When you're here" 君が居なくなる前に Kimi ga inakunaru mae niBefore you leave me君の名前は! However, in the written lyrics the word 咲いて (saite) meaning "to bloom" is used which alters the meaning to "blooming with the acacia(trees)" The meaning of white acacia flowers in hanakotoba is longing or yearning (among other things) ----- 限りなく不思議な遠さ Kagirinaku fushigina toosaExceedingly strange distance 憬がれの場所へ今 Akogare no basho e imaTo the place I yearn for, right now夢見た場所へ行ければいい Yumemita basho e yukereba iiI wish I could go to that place I saw in my dreams不思議なほどに輝く Fushigina hodo ni kagayakuStrange as much as it shinesすてきな場所へ近づくこと夢を見て歩こう Sutekina basho e chikazuku koto yume o mite arukouAs I dream about getting closer to that beautiful place I will walkどこまでも…… Doko made mo......To the end of the world...... 追えば追うほど遠く感じ Oeba ou hodo tooku kanjiThe more I chase it the more distant it feels夢見た場所 それは果てしなく遠いね Yumemita bashoThe place I saw in my dreamsSore wa hateshinaku tooi neMust be exceedingly distant, right?憬がれの町へ今 Akogare no machi e imaTo the town I yearn for, right now君を追いかけて行ければいい Kimi o oikakete yukereba iiI wish I could go chase after you限りなく遠く辿り着く場所 Kagirinaku tooku tadoritsuku bashoThat exceedingly distant place I struggeled to reach君はいない 変わらない景色だけ残り Kimi wa inaiYou are not hereKawaranai keshiki dake nokoriJust the unwavering scenery is left一人淋しく浮遊してる溺れてる不思議な僕がいた Hitori samishiku fuyuushiteru oboreteru fushigi na boku ga itaAnd there I was alone, lonely, floating, drowning and so strange 限りなく不思議な遠さ Kagirinaku fushigina toosaExceedingly strange distanceあの空見て笑う 何も変わらない僕の遠い人 Ano sora mite warauI see that space and smileNani mo kawaranai boku no tooi so*You are my unwavering distant someone限りなく不思議な遠さ Kagirinaku fushigina toosaExceedingly strange distance何も変わらない「君と僕」の不思議な遠さ Nani mo kawaranai "kimi to boku" no fushigina toosaThe unwavering strange distance between "you and me"遠いほど夢を見て…… Tooi hodo yume o mite......Dream as far as you are distant...... 追えば追うほど遠く感じ Oeba ou hodo tooku kanjiThe more I chase it the more distant it feels夢見た場所 それは果てしなく遠いね Yumemita bashoThe place I saw in my dreamsSore wa hateshinaku tooi neMust be exceedingly distant, right?浮遊してる溺れている不思議な僕 Fuyuushiteru oboreteiru fushigi na bokuI am floating, drowning and so strange ---- *The word 人(person) in the written lyrics is pronounced 'hito'. The vocal appears to sing it as 'so', though. There is the archaic expression 夫 (that person) that is pronounced 'so' and that might be why. However, I'm not 100% sure about what he's singing right there, so it might just be a very shitty pronounciation of 'hito' or something completely different even.
