rosalyrica 30 Posted October 4, 2014 My friends the Jet Set Gypsies (based in Colorado, United States) describe themselves as an "avant garde break-beat visual neo-classical darkwave gothic industrial film noir gypsy circus hardcore experimental project." They take inspiration from opera, metal, Japanese visual bands, etc. but they have their own unique story to tell with theatrical and poetic style. V and Richter are the powerful vocals while Dai plays lead guitar. They're also supported by Idea on rhythm guitar and Yoshi on drums. They recently put out their first music video for their new song Tourniquet: The story in the video: Jet Set Gypsies portray tragic opposition of the human spirit in 'Tourniquet', Face to face, night and day, left and right, Prince V and Richter Feist battle using their powerful voices as weapons against each other. Duets escalate in intensity as Dai's guitar wails this tale.
