Champ213 1858 Posted September 24, 2010 I'm not exactly sure what you mean, basically you download a vob file like any other file (like, click the link and save the file to your computer). What you probably mean is how to watch them. Well, first of all, since vob files are quite large, they are often split into parts. (these files will habe endings like .001, .002 etc) In this case you have to join them together first, and it's usually done by HJSplit: http://www.freebyte.com/hjsplit/ You will just open the 001 file with HJSplit, and it will then join together the parts (you need to have all files into the same folder and make sure the name before the .001 etc is the same, which it usually is already though) After that, or if the file is only one file to begin with (ends in .vob), I suggest a player like VLC to play it: http://www.videolan.org/
babyruby911 0 Posted September 24, 2010 What if i want to upload to youtube?
LIDL 692 Posted September 24, 2010 youtube does not supporting VOB, as it is too large at size and since it right down from DVD file, most players did not recognize it and don't know what to do with it. You will have to convert the video to acceptable formats, like: MPEG, AVI, FLV, WMA, etc. download this free video converter http://www.any-video-converter.com/ scroll down to the bottom and download it its fast and easy then click add new video then up in the top right, there will be a drop down menu, pick what u want to convert your video to the click convert or whatever and that'll take like less than 5 seconds i did AVI and that worked for me, once you've got all that figured out, go to youtube and upload the *new* video it should be under your Any Video Converter file and upload it! (when you convert the video, the size decreases, allowing for easy upload on youtube.)
