wtf? the crusade is worst album in imho. i hate'em for changing into wannabe commercial. the best album was Ascendency and ember to inferno was good as well. but it depends on the first track u heard of that band....

This was one of the bands I actually listened to before I got into J-Rock, I listened to them a while ago. I only listened to their "Ascendancy" album, which I thought was pretty good, but I heard some of their newer stuff, but I didn't really like it as much, but I'm not really into that type of music anymore either. But I almost want to listen to them now, I'm remembering how awesome that CD was, it had a really awesome intro track too, lol.

I think they're pretty bad as a metalcore band, but as a thrash band they are average I guess.... not even really thrash in the sense of Testament, Megadeth, etc... i think Trivium lack something that all the classic thrash bands had. Maybe its because they imitate too much and don't put something original in.
