Rob Banham (At the bottom of the photo)OHP: http://www.dogfeet.org This is my band, DOGFEET. I'm the Bassist. We've been described as 'industrial, noise and gltich'. We've been compared to bands such as 'The Birthday Party', 'This Heat', 'Einstürzende Neubauten' and for some reason 'The Clash'.We have always written, recorded, produced and mixed everything ourselves. We also make our own music videos, do our own cover artwork and build our own things. We're quite a D.I.Y band, I suppose. Here's a snippet from an old article, so you can get a feel for who we are: WHO ARE YOU?We are Dogfeet.WHEN DID YOU START?Technically we started only 3 months ago, but as a group of people, the four that are in this project have been together for nearly 3 years. The longest running project before this was Stavin Chains.WHY DID YOU START?We started mostly in response to a music scene that we found to be increasingly dull and passionless. Music is something very important to all of us and we needed an outlet I suppose. We were quite regularly disgusted by the motives and directions of bands around us at the time. As a result we started as a band with a quite ridiculous set of ideologies, most of which have died now or calmed down a lot, thankfully.WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO TO PEOPLE WHEN THEY SEE YOU LIVE?Mostly, I think we’re happy if people have the courtesy to stay in the room. We divide people a lot. Our debut show as this project was cut short by a violent heckler and it turned into a small bar room brawl quite quickly. Unfortunately, a lot of previous shows have turned into things like this as well, and violence was becoming our gimmick it seemed. This definitely is not something we wanted to happen, I think we all just want people to listen to us and actually respond to music that they either like or dislike, it’s very depressing going to/playing shows where no one dances in case they ruin their hair, even if they want to. I’d like to see people to lose themselves when music does affect them.THE FUTURE?I think the plan is to branch out more, we’re very sick of playing shows in the same old venues, and doing standard sets. I think we’d all want experiment some more, maybe collaborate with other people and just wait for the whole thing to run it’s course. You can download or stream an EP of ours here:http://www.dogfeet.bandcamp.com'>http://www.dogfeet.bandcamp.comOur new stuff is more upbeat and glitchy. We're releasing single on 7inch Vinyl (limited to 200 copies) on 2012.10.31, called 'SHADE':Below is a secret link to previews.A. Yuuko 76 Posted March 3, 2013 Last week we played three shows, two were big support slots. We supported Iceage from Denmark, and also Mike Watt (The bassist of Iggy Pop and the Stoogs and co-founder of Minutemen, dos and fIREHOSE) which was really exciting. I got to use Mike Watt's huge stack bass amp, which sounded great. He took our record to play on his radio show too, he really liked us. His new band rocked too! Somebody recorded a video of one of our new songs from that show - the quality isn't perfect and there's not much to look at when somebody is recording so close to the stage, considering we play in the dark and the only lights are triggered by the drum hits. But it's quite cool still:
