I love this band because they have a sort of (not completely) unique style. Their speed is what really gets me, especially when Herman Li and Sam Totam start doing their solos (points to the 2 songs below). But if your into decently heavy and fast music, then Dragonforce is the band for you.

All hail the lords of Power Metal. DRAGONFORCE!!!!!! Proablly my favorite band. I love all of their songs, but my favorite song is proablly Disciples of Babylon and Cry for Eternity.

Nowhere near the best power metal band though. And Inhuman Rampage was disappointing, only Through the fire and the flames holds my interest.

They do kinda suck live but it would be better if they wouldn't use the videogame/midi sound with their guitars on the live shows, they should've just used plain electric sounds, such as with the through the fire and flames song they played live in shinbuya o-east, had the guitars sounded different it wouldn't have been as bad.

I hate dragonforce. Everything is repetitive, the drums are the same in every song. They are fast, I'll give them that. But nothing new.

indeed most of their songs sound generic but as long as the melodies are catchy then i dont mind. the speed of those double bass drums really impress me.

it's true most of their songs sound the same. Which is why i don't listen to them much but their songs are kind of catchy and i still like operation ground and pound. they aren't amazing but they aren't completely terrible either.

exactly i cant stand how people think DF is so original and that Herman Li is the reincarnation of god on guitar. especially all the guitar magazines

I've still yet to see a band of their style of play that's better. I still find their music to be good regardless of what others may say, that's only because i have my own opinion about them.
