nutberry 4 Posted December 31, 2010 then i guess you probably wouldn't be too shocked as for me I don't like oshare kei (but i actually took a liking on Aicle first when i hear them), so i don't like the idea of letting an oshare kei band covering Raphael... I still miss Yuki's lovely voice 10 years ago :/ he sounds...old...now ;(
Lily 106 Posted January 1, 2011 I think too that isn't a good idea to make a Raphael song in Oshare style. Kazuki would commit suicide, If he can hear it... I like Yuki's voice and Kazuki's guitar play... Raijingusan, you said that your favorite Raphael song is Lost Graduation. Did you read its lyric in English? It's really deep, sad and shocking. So, here is: Lost Graduation the lonely footsteps echo in the quiet emptiness somehow even this scenery I've seen so often pains me when I ascend to the top of the stairs to a door I recognize all too well, I wonder if I'll understand the world on the other side of that door? What was I looking for here? in this constantly returning feeling, beyond agony, beyond lonliness I go looking for the answer... Unable to have those sights that I longed for, time slips me by it pains me... how momentary it is... feelings are deep... I can't say it... I shut it inside... though I'm weaker than anyone else I'm sad... I'm lonely... and afraid to be alone... I understood but I dreamed because I didn't want to understand how many nights did I spend shivering alone? what was I waiting for in this place? in this constantly returning feeling, beyond agony, beyond loneliness I go looking for an answer... I can't say it... I shut it inside... though I'm weaker than anyone else I'm sad... I'm lonely... I'm afraid to be alone... Now, time sees me off to the root of my sadness This "me" isn't afraid, so I open the door. I can't see "what's" important to me in this sad age now, in my heart I can change the me that was so determined Don't forget me... Don't forget me... because I leave these words behind. because there's surely meaning to me being me... the single white flower blooming gently from me now kisssed me so that I wouldn't be destroyed by these tears. don't leave me... don't leave me... My sweet purity will remain as it was For an eternity... I promise. Because I am what I am... I entrusted my body to the wind as gentle as a dream tears, sadness, and loneliness... now I forget them all.

Original Saku 1593 Posted January 2, 2011 Hey ya'll do know oshare is just a visual style, not a genre... and it doesn't have a definite sound rite? I only brought it up because it seemed like some of you are generalizing oshare kei with a specific sound or musical genre... which really isn't true. an oshare band can be as heavy or brutal as they want and still be considered oshare as long as they look the part. No, of course not. I listened many oshare bands. And I know that it isn't a genre. (I like for example Lolita 23q and they're havier) I think it isn't a good idea to make a Raphael cover in SuG's style... It's more understandable. @Raijingusan You're welcome. I love this lyric. I watched MTV today and I saw a top 10 about "the most shocking costumes of Lady GaGa". That's why I made an own chart about "The Most shocking costumes of Kazuki". I think it's very funny. Peace Heavy mk II 7200 Posted January 29, 2011 Recently started listening to them because of Herpe's mixtape P: . I kind of don't know where to start with them. I listened to their singles collection album but none of the songs hit me as hard as "花咲く命ある限り" did : / . I mean they were nice, but they didn't wow me to the same extent. Lily 106 Posted January 29, 2011 When I first listen them they didn't become my favorite... I loved their music, but they weren't the best band I ever heard. But some years later I was sitting before my computer and searched pvs on youtube. I saw Raphael's Promise too and from that moment they became my favorites. I don't know what happened. From that moment I can't imagine my life without their music, without Kazuki's smile or Yuki's voice. They became my biggest favorites... Maybe an angel's magic reached me... So, just listen them and I think you'll like!
