In a recent blog entry, one of the members wrote:

I couldn't find any other info about the release of a cover album (no luck at their homepage, at the online shops, etc.), and I can't trust fully in google translator - so, anybody who knows more or knows japanese more than I do?

(It would be great to hear a cover album from them!)

I moved the topic here, because now I know, that it's offical, and there will be a cover album.

The title will be Re/composition, and it will be released on the fourth of April, and it will cost 2,310 JPY.

I included the original artists of the song, where I had a guess - but I'm only sure about the second song, since there was an Echo And The Bunnymen video in the blog entry. Looking forward to it, altough I could imagine some better choices (Everything Counts, ew). Hope that the Ghostrider refers to the suicide song, I love that song!

And I guess you got it right on the artists.

The Ghost rider song is probably Suicide's... Simple Minds was already more on the pop rock side when they released their Ghost Rider.

Though there is Toxic lol so I guess there's no way I can really guess that.

Pike is probably a cover of a song by the japanese new-wave band Hikashu. FLOPPY and Polysics have also done a cover of that track.

Yes, I saw that, it helped to find some of the bands. Also, their logo really reminds me of another band's logo, but I can't find out, which band it was. >_>;
