  1. i may not have heard the album at all but Go doesnt seem a fitting title, not if the album is anything like the singles (which it will be). to me Go makes me think of fast paced hard rock not soft slow ballady-poppy songs like color and inochi no ki

  2. well this blows. I really loved these guys. i guess i should start being thankful for every day that one of my favorite bands hasnt disbanded. Anybody got any suggestions for good similar bands?

  3. if it's in the same style of the two singles (likely) than it will suck. I dont want them to break up, but i wouldn't mind if they took a year off and came back good again with rock instead of pop. If it's anything like Alice Nine they'll get ridiculous fan girls for turning all *kawaii* and singing sappy boy band songs, then they turn major, get some money, and just keep releasing the same lame shit over and over.

  4. I freaking love this album. i'm too tired to do a full track by track review atm but lets just say the album gets a 9/10 from me. Welcome back Miyavi! I love it!

I will also say that Gravity is fucking epic! 10/10 FUCKING EPICNESS!

  5. I know this review is coming a bit late seeing as the new single has been out for a little while now but i was being lazy and hoping someone else would put one up lol. Anyways on to the review.

First things first, Miyavi is back to form! Wow did this single kick ass? YES! Before this single it had been what like 2 years since he had released anything and to be honest the stuff back then was NOT my favorite. I just wasnt into MYV Hip Hops lol. I much prefer when MYV Rocks.

Torture is like a breathe of fresh air to me. I personally loved meev's indie/early years. Yeah he's improved a lot with his voice since those days but i just loved his crazy rock style of music back then. While this new single is really not a whole lot like early miyavi it rocks harder than he has in a LONG TIME! It's the first time in several years that he's picked up an electric guitar and i love it! I cant even remember the last time he screamed in a song. To a long time miyavi fan it's just nice to see him step back into this more rock style.

Torture - Love this song so much! Just Awesome! 9/10

S.M.F.B - Crazy fun awesome miyavi. I love how he just casually drops "Could you fuck yourself up please?" in the middle of the song - 8.5/10

Revenge - Another great song, I love the guitar - 8/10

Overall - Miyavi is back! I cant wait for the new album, i hope it's style is just like this single which i give an 8.5/10 overall.

    THANK YOU MIYAVI!

  6. It's okay. I think i liked it better than color, but i'm already missing even stuff like now and music. Of course if i had it my way they would go back to stuff more like there self titled album or reason for crying but it's not that bad, i just dont like this giru as much as the old giru.

    Song 1: 6.5/10

    Song 2: 7.5/10

    Song 3: 6/10

6.5/10 Overall. I've heard worse, but to me this just isnt giru. It's bringing back bitter memories of alice nine and i dont like that...

  7. well this sucks but it seems like it's for the best. i'd rather they take a break now and hopefully hizumi can heal up a bit. It's better than him ruining his voice forever by forcing to continue.

  8. MIYAVI to Collaborate with Good Charlotte

MIYAVI, who is currently working on his new album, WHAT'S MY NAME?, has announced a collaboration with American pop-punk band Good Charlotte.

The singer will feature on the song Like It’s Her Birthday for Good Charlotte's upcoming album Cardiology. The album will go on pre-sale in Japan on October 27th as part of group’s first album after changing record labels. Like It’s Her Birthday will be a bonus track on the Japanese version only.

Good Charlotte say that they have always had a lot of respect for Japan and have been wanting to collaborate with a Japanese artist for a while. After seeing MIYAVI perform live, they asked him if he would like to collaborate with them.

In addition to this, we are happy to inform that MIYAVI and his wife, popstar Melody, are expecting a second baby. Their daughter, Lovelie, is already a year old and Melody says that she expects her to be a good older sister.
