  1. Dude that covers sweet! Im a long waiting to hear a Sound cover live. Now that I would be something. If The Chameleons do a cover thatll be a super++! Oh and yeah! You should really give a listen to those bands. This Heat, I wanna say is very uneasy to listen to. The Pop Group I say its much more easy to get into. Ill definitely message you some info and recommendations to the bands music.
  2. Asylum Party Can you hear it? It's speaking to my soul. *bobs head left and right* Now this band was part of the cold wave french movement during the mid 80s or so. You can definitely feel this band going through your soul. Such dark cold voice. Xymox/ Clan of Xymox Early 1980 4AD darkwave band which I really appreciate how Pieter Nooten (keyboards) just perfect the synths. An atmosphere you feel confined to endless swirls. With the songs that Anka Wolbert (bass) has written gives a much more gloomy feel. note: dont listen to CoX after anka and pieter split. just dont! Coldreams Very obscure coldwave band formed in the mid 80's. Give it a listen. Real great stuff.

  4. great fucking selection of bands yo this is dope! for a great amount of time of my life I listened post punk non stop! still do! The Sound ho ho I just changed my icon to the album Jeopardy, what a coincidence Anyways 1979 post punk band with great sounds and feeling to their music. A lot of comparison to Joy Division, but personally for first listeners, you'll might say that. I listen to them a lot and by now I can barely relate but say they're both post punk bands. I can totally relate to the motivation that they were putting out to. I am totally sucked in to their music. note: very overlooked band and never hit high popularity This Heat One of the most greatest bands I've ever listened to. Very relatable to me and MIND BLOWING! They started in the late 70's post punk era creating the most horrific sounding music you'll hear. Though they arent really categorized any genre or type of music, but still hold some post punk into them. Experimental and industrial I see more as. What I found interesting is that their motivation of music if from fear! During the time of the missile crisis, it was a horrifying impact to peoples minds. Which I can clearly hear from their music. The Pop Group Lets put some funk into punk haha Mark Stewart -lead singer- knows how to project this unkindly scary voice, which made it so amazing! one ofa kind haha the same fear and paranoia inspired to make this music. fuckin end of the world oh boy such aggression to his voice and all the instruments combined. it was something I always wanted to project out and so this grabbed me very instantly. got more bands to share

We all for the most part had fallen for the mainstream media. but thank goodness we were able to find good music. and oh lord, in a sense it does feel like a curse. too many great, interesting bands to listen to, that I have a giant list of bands/ era in music that I need to look through. thats a great ideal! definitely don't limit yourself to music!

That's great dude! When I was young I always envy people that had parents listening to metal. I always thought extreme music was the coolest! Also nice on X JAPAN, its a great way to go, though yeah it probably exposed more to metal than the Jrock scene. It gave me that impression for sure.

Never been in a relationship. Generally not looking for one, but I am a sucker when I'm being noticed by people that I feel attracted to. Its more in dept than that but its a bit personal. Though I'll say this, being in a relationship would probably give much distraction.

I enjoyed reading peoples backstory of their music taste. So I'm bumping it up again. Im curious to see more of peoples history with music. Shows a lot to where youre coming from. A lot of love I would like to add on more to my experiences with music. When it comes to my parents I kinda despised whatever they liked, which was a lot of the spanish radio. Oh boy it drove me nuts listening to their music in the car! Though some songs I do remember listening to really hit me, but I never knew who were the artists. But man they were great nostalgic songs. So that really didnt lead anywhere with my taste in music except exclude cliche mexican bands/artist lol As I mention before, Billy Corgan changed a certain view on music, which is, I got bored with poppy sounding music. As a child I remember liking different things than other children, so I was like hey! Why not like different sounds? Basically thats how it went down : p My way with music at a young age was always trying to find something different. Being different was my whole being. I grew on a lot of punk and metal. Anything that gave aggression, and I thank the Tony Hawk games. Really my only source of listening to new music. (btw I got all Tony Hawk games heheh) edit: also I like to thank the people that shared.

^ all I have to say is that I never had internet until I was 18. do I express myself as a rocker? fuck yeah! I have the heart and soul haha what I see around me are just boring mother fuckers, dressing the same like all the local yokels all that sub culture is just dead. did meet the coolest people that live on to these past cultures. straight up industrial people, goth, punk, hippie. and they're all saying the same thing about the diversity of people and where the scenes are. its more of a feeling to actually define if a certain place feels more "real" industrial or whatever sub culture youre in. thats just for me though.
