Typical me ... overthinking everything. Let's just see how this weekend goes ... Well, honestly, thanks for the advice and at least taking me seriously. I truly wish you the best in your current situation. From what I can gather, you've got a good head on your shoulders, so don't let anyone discount that.

She's told me that she has met some friends from other countries, but nobody from America. She's got some friends from Australia that she said she's talked to before. We've "gone out" twice now and have plans to spend the day together again this weekend, so I guess this is good news. The more time I spend with her, the more I am attracted to her, which I didn't think would happen to be honest. I'm also not one to jump into things (I'm not a very forward person) but goddam did I want to hold her hand today ... I'm just a sappy hopeless romantic.

I used to do this a lot: tell someone to listen to a song without any visuals and then get their impression of the music. It worked all the time with my brother, regardless of the fact that neither of us could understand what was being said. If lyrics are a big issue for people listening to music, then I don't think they care that much about the music.

I honestly don't know her friends at all, since she doesn't talk about them very much, but the way she talks with me, she's eager to spend time with me (and I the same with her), but don't know when (or if) to make a move ... I do think she's a bit more mature to just be pretending to be dating a gaijin as I don't think her friends would give a damn. I guess I'm just more concerned if she's just spending time with me because I'm a gaijin and it's new and fun, but has no romantic attraction to me at all. I am so bad at this ...

^ well, to make matters worse, I'm an American in Japan, so there's all sorts of cultural differences ... Like I don't know if she was interested in me or just interested in the fact that I'm a gaijin.

When do you know when a date is a date? Regardless, I think it's too late (that rhymed and I didn't mean it to).

Far East Dizain, JILUKA, and Fixer all touring together. I would lose my shit. As for non-VK bands, I think Crystal Lake, Crossfaith, HONE YOUR SENSE and Deadman Walking would put on a sick tour if they were to go international.

They're not together anymore, but I was definitely a huge fan of SCISSOR when they were around. They're not the sound I typically like, but for some reason I was into them.

Are jumpsuits the new "heavy VK" wear? Also, you aren't a band unless you have a dude in a mask.

∀NTI FEMINISM was always a "stage antics" band for me. I couldn't find myself listening to their music unless it was live and even then, it took second stage to Kenzi's weird lightbulb smashing, barbwire rolling, bloody mess. Plus, I think the history behind THE PIASS is super interesting.

Yeah, I was at one of the Namba Hatch shows and I feared the new song being a ballad because it seems like this is all going to end soon, but when it was heavy as fuck, I instantly cheered up. Now there's ANOTHER new song and it is a ballad ... hmm.

I was just cruising the Amemura DROP schedule and so many of these band names are horrid: Bitch Sylvia Never Ends BreakingAsshole Sacred Sound Slave GO FIGHT GOOD FIGHTERS Some others that come to mind are: We Butter the Bread with Butter (Dutch electro-shitcore band) Screaming Inside Can Kill (new VK band) Cocklobin (great band, terrible name) THE RUDIE SATAN PARK (mid-2000 VKcore band)

キバオブアキバ (Kiba of Akiba) will be hold their first one-man at LIVE HOUSE 新宿SAMURAI (Shinjuku SAMURAI) on 2016.12.04. Doors open at 18:30 and tickets will be ¥2,500 advance or ¥3,000 at the door with a ¥600 drink fee. Fans can reserve tickets with the band via web reservation.
