  1. I completely agree that this section, especially for vocal cover doesn't get enough attention! So I'm going to do my reviews too whenever I see vocal covers come up. I listened to Jeniva first. I wish the sound quality were a little better. There's no way I could review you as well as Kaleidoscope but here's my feedback.

Jeniva: I like it, you have a lovely, deep, unique, and gorgeous voice! You're definitely a good singer, if you practice your voice more you will be perfect. I enjoyed this cover. I love how as the song progressed your voice started getting a bit higher in tone. But conclusively I really enjoyed your voice in this throughout the whole song, and it kind of sounded like an oldschool-VK voice to me.

deadman: I agree with everything Kaleidoscope said here. You have potential to sing this song great, but you could have controlled your voice a bit better at some parts, but it wasn't bad and you still had a gorgeous voice here, you just could have controlled it better, especially at the falsetto parts at the end. The sound quality could have also been a bit better too.

And do the sink cover please! I'm sure it will sound great. ^_^

  2. Hello, I started with the Sink cover first and it was pretty good. You're definitely a great singer and have a nice voice and I enjoyed listening. Also, Sink is a great song. You did a pretty good job with the falsetto part too by the way.

I then listened to the Sirenia one. It's interesting. Your voice is deeper here, but I like it too. The chorus was my favorite part when you two were singing together, it sounded great. The screaming was ok but could use some work. Conclusion: You're definitely a good singer and I'm sure you'd be a great vocalist for a band (if you're not already one lol)

  3. If this is their way of trying to break into the American rock/metal scene, they're doing it the wrong way. Diru didn't get into the scene because they started collaborating with these artists (many of whom I dislike btw). They kept making music, kept selling the music, toured abroad and made fans and kept at it!

They're marketing their music to people with tastes too limited to accept a band from another country, unless both artists plan to permanently switch their language of choice to English.
